Well its fourth of July!!!
So, so what? Are we gonna celebrate USA's independence day?
Nay! No! Nakko!
Then? Whats the celebration?
Well, it is fourth of July and exactly one year before a character named Bihaan Pandey entered the show Thapki Pyaar..Ki!
What? It is just one year? I thought I knew him my whole life!
Yes..today Manish Goplani has completed one year as the character b phor Bihaan Pandey and we can not miss this chance to celebrate! So, ladies and gentlemen, presenting you...
Bihaan is the adopted son of Balbinder Pandey and the whole family loves him like anything. The reason I am writing him as only bauji's adopted son is that Vasu never accepted Bihaan as her son. It is the reason that BIhaan remained illiterate and was invloved in some gunda-gardi on behalf of Bauji. Yes it was Bauji who need Bihaan's help in his work as he and DS has major difference over the line of Bauji's work culture. Bihaan loves his bauji very much and can die for him but it is the mother's love he always craves for. He alwyas knows that he is discriminated by Vasu but still loves her very much. It is the reason that he almost lost his own family by marrying Thapki against her will.
It is the story of that orphan, who to save his family's honor, lost his own chance of love and happiness by marrying Thapki. He was emotionally blackmailed by his mother into marrying Thapki and even after facing constant humiliation, he did everything for Thapki and her family
He was mere a kid when he saved Balwinder Pandey from goons who were keen to kill him. Balwinder Pandey, impressed by the kid, took him in and brought him to his family. He gave Bihaan his name and loved him more than his own son Dhruv. Balwinder Pandey's wife, Vasundhara Pandey, however, always supported her own flesh over Bihaan. She did not deprive him of care but she didnt love him either. But Bihaan always craved for her love and took any blow himself that was directed to his mother. We have seen the extent of his devotion to his mother when he kept his hand over broken glasses so that it didnt pierce his mother's feet.
Bihaan was introduced as the rouge gunda who helps his father in his business of vacating houses. This business led him to Chaturvedi house and his first rift with Thapki. They were poles apart but fate threw them together again and again
But Bihaan gave ultimate agnipariksha when his mother asked him to stop Dhruv from marrying Thapki. He did everything but was unsuccessful.And at last, he was forced to take Dhruv's place in the mandap. He married Thapki and when it was known to all, all hell broke loose. Everyone started hating him and his father tried to kill him. But to save his mother from humiliation, Bihaan was silent and took all the blame himself.
But Thapki was unable accpet him as her husband. She hated him, didnt leave any chance to humiliate him. But Bihaan endured everything. Bihaan fought with her, didnt leave any chance to tease her but, yes but,,he stood by herself always. When he realised that Dhruv loves Thapki really, he tried to fake his death and leave Thapki. But when Thapki made him realise that inspite of all odds, he is her husband and till the time they seperates, she will follow the marriage.
They passed every hurdle together. And gradually Bihaan started to understand Thapki. His trust on her was shown when he left his family for her. Together they came out of the situation but as the happiness started coming to their way, Bihaan was shot to save Thapki's honour. The incidents proved how far Bihaan has came along with Thapki. Once he used to ridicule Thapki for her stammering. But he stood for her when a gunda tried to humiliate her and took a bullet on his chest. As he was recovering frrom his injuries, Bihaan realised that he has fall in love with Thapki.
But fate played a role and he misunderstood Thapki. He tried to go far from her but his heart refused. He became bitter and had an ugly row when his bauji was stabbed. The blame fall on Bihaan as he was holding a knife. He was thrown into jail but his wife, showing ultimate faith on him, cleared his name.
Finally Bihaan confessed his love to Thapki and after much persuasion, Thapki to confessed that she loves him. They were coming closer when suddenly Vasu's hand in Thahaan marriage came into light. She was thrown out the house. The family was reluctant to forgive her but Thapki and Bihaan managed to bring their mother.
Now, Bihaan and Thapki are again getting remarried. Though there are obstacles, we are sure that Bihaan Pandey, along with his wife, Mrs Thapki Bihaan Pandey will overcome any hurdle, just like they did every time!

Dear, Manish Goplani..thank you for giving us Bihaan Pandey as he is. Sometimes, we forget to diffrentiate between you and Bihaan. Yes. Your Bihaan is this much real. We wish that you will always entertain us with your expresiions and acting always. May God grant you everything that you need in life. Way to go M phor Manish and B for Bihaan Pandey!
