Mandodari weeps and tries to wake up her dead son. She mentions the Kheer she prepared for him. Ravana asks her to accept the truth. Mandodari interrupts and angrily accuses him of being her son's murderer. She utters that she repeatedly warned him of Sita being the cause of Lanka's destruction, but he did not heed to her words.
Hanuman is presented in front of Ravana. Akampana utters that Hanuman's introduction is necessary before giving the verdict and questions him regarding his identity and motive. Hanuman introduces himself as Sugriv's messenger. He utters that Surgiv asked him to convey to Ravana that if he doesn't abandon the path of adharma, his fate Bali.
Trijata utters that Hanuman should not have killed Akshay Kumar. Sita defends Hanuman and tells her that it wasn't his mistake. Trijata tells Sita that only a miracle can save Hanuman now. Sita replies that dharma will protect Hanuman. Dharma has always won over adharma.
Meghnad yells at Hanuman and threatens him. The latter tells him that excess anger is injurious to health. Ravana warns Hanuman and asks him to reveal his reality. Hanuman breaks the chains with a chant of Jai Sri Ram. He asks Ravana that why a guest isn't respected at his court? If he doesn't offer him a seat, he will do that himself. Hanuman creates a high seat by elongating his tail and sits on the top of it.
Parvati tells Mahadev that his Rudra avatar is seated in front of his devotee who wanted to conquer the world with his devotion. But he is unable to recognize him. Mahadev replies that sometimes a devotee considers himself greater than his lord and fails to recognize him. If Ravana doesn't understand him this time, he is doomed.
Hanuman finally reveals himself to be Ram's messenger. Ravana fumes in anger and says that his doubt has come true. He ridicules Ram and Lakshman for seeking the assistance of monkeys. Hanuman tells him that he is aware of their powers, and that's why he abducted Sita deceitfully. Hanuman then advises Ravana to return Sita with respect and beg Ram's pardon by falling on his feet. Ram will surely forgive him. Ravana yells at Hanuman. The latter jumps down and utters that his screams won't change the truth. Ram will soon come to Lanka and establish dharma by killing him. Ravana instructs Meghnad to kill Hanuman instantly. Meghnad is about to strike but Mandodari stops and announces that she will decide Hanuman's punishment.
Sita thinks of Mandodari's pain. She tells Trijata that Devi Mandodari is aware of dharma and adharma. Hence she will understand that Hanuman isn't at fault. But will a mother be able to pardon Hanuman?
She asks Ravana if he will consider her punishment. Ravana assures her that he will bestow world's most cruel punishment upon Hanuman. Mandodari tells Ravana that she wants Hanuman to be released.
