The Greatest thing in the World is HOPE. When Hope dies, the person is left completely useless and morbid. The existence itself becomes worthless which leads to frustration, depression and guilt. And that's what has happened with Sumo. Her Hope and Will Power have died, which leaves her defeated.
And amidst this - comes the blame of bad cooking and her name is at stake. Hope maybe Great but Challenge is even greater, in this case. Challenging your inner consciousness is the essential factor in recovery. It grants the Will Power to remove the stain to pride.
With PCT's name at stake, Sumo has a concrete reason to spring into action and prove herself.
Note that this shaking of conscience also happened to Shravan, with Sumo's accident. It's so interesting to see this happening in two different ways to two different people.
In one case, it led to guilt. In the other, it'll remove the guilt of uselessness.
So the point is, will Sumo be able to overcome her disorder? Or will she silently bear her name getting spoilt in front of her?
Only time will tell...
