This is what I think and purely my POV. We know how CVS sometimes incorporate few things that forum people talk about.. this could be one of those to show shagun in better light.

People complained that how shagun only cares about Pihu but nothing about Adi. This conversation is to point out how good shagun was for both Adi and Pihu and how she took care of them and stood by them.

Because no one has a clue about what happened in these 7 years in Bhallas house.

Adi being nice was also trying to make shagun happy about herself with his friend's staged comment to diver her attention from thinking negatively. because negative shagun is bad news for Ishra in the middle of Ruhi's custody.

Who cares about shagun...Mani should get married to shagun...Shagun only needs appreciation and tareef from everyone...karti kuch nahi, tareef chahiye...saat saal se bhalla house mein reh rahi hai, why didnt she bring romi home or try to change raman-romi relation...

Adi n shagun scene was just a filler scene not much importance in there I think adi tried to divert shagun's thought from ishita n her all insecurities n made cheering her mood by praising n making drama about her jawani.lol rather this scene's only importance part i feel is indicating adi n aliya are coming more close towards each other day by day.n I didn't watch precape hence no idea about it.

Mani is like Ishita...cunning like a fox but acts like a saint. 😆
Ishita chose her live-in partner just like her. 😆 Aliya is their prototype...🤣
Shagun has no sugar daddy at the moment so she is passig time doing nothing. 😆
Ishita is enjoying with Raman, if Mani becomes richer making Mihir his CEO she will again run away to Mani. 😆
