Chapter 54
The basketball match begins between two families. Rahul is nervous. Sujal cheers him up & said, "It is just a friendly match. Just think that we are helping you to win the Inter Hospital Tournament."
Arnav goes to Rahul & says, "I know that you are nevous playing with us. My intention is only to give you some tips for your Inter Hospital match. If you are nervous now, what will you do in tomorrow's match?"
Rahul: I have not played basket ball for 2 months.
Arnav: That's ok dude. If not for us, please play at least for Juhi.
Juhi: Rahul, I want you to play. Please don't refuse.
Rahul: If you are saying, I will definitely play.
Rahul gets enthusiastic to play.
From Raizadas side, it is Arnav, Akash & NK who are the main players. From Modis side, it is Rahul, Sujal & Lakshya are the main players. Both the teams play. It is a tough match between 2 teams.
NK passes on the ball to Arnav but Rahul stops & takes the ball away from the Raizadas & puts the ball into the basket. The scores are

Arnav takes the ball & passes it to Akash who passes it to NK. Arnav is near the basket. NK passes the ball to Arnav who succeeds to put it in their basket.
The scores are even. Juhi cheers for Rahul. KT cheers for Lakshya. Khushi & Payal cheer for Arnav & Akash respectively.
Both the teams continue to play. The Raizadas score is 30 & Modis score is 27. Ball is in Rahul's hand. NK fouls & Modis get a penalty. Rahul puts the ball in their basket & takes the score to 29. They are one point behind Raizadas. NK passes the ball but Sujal takes it & quickly passes on to Lakshya. Lakshya puts the ball in the basket.
Modis are now one point ahead. The first session ends.
Both teams have a break.
Arnav: You are as good as ever in basketball. There is no need for you to get nervous especially when you have a guide like Sujal & me.
Rahul: I hope we win tomorrow's tournament. The entire team depends only on me. In our hospital, we have only 4 main players including me.
Arnav: With which hospital are you going to play?
Rahul: Apollo Hospital.
Arnav: Apollo has got good players. They are tough opponents but they aren't invincible. The ball should either be with you or Omi or 2 other good players. Do one thing, after this match, call all your team mates & the reserves to make some changes. Take only the good players. I will also help you to select the team.
Sujal: Even I will come.
Arnav: That is really great.
Next session begins. Both the teams are in good spirits & they continue to give a tough fight. Last few minutes are remaining. Both the teams score 60. Time is up now & it is a tie.
Sujal: This is the first time we are having a tie.
Arnav: Of course, I am a very good basketball player.
Rahul then calls his team to the basketball court near the hospital. Arnav & Sujal accompany him. All the guys gather & start practising. Rahul, Arnav & Sujal find the guys who are good enough but are not selected. They make the changes in the team & take the ones who are good.
Coach comes in. Rahul informs the coach about the changes he made & convinces him about it. The coach agrees.
Rahul apologizes to the guys for the injustice but they said, "It isn't your fault. People here believe in friendship & favouritism in games."
The hospital trustee Dr. Shashank comes in & said, "From now on there should not be any favouritism. Everything should be on merit basis."
He then goes to Rahul & said, "All the best for tomorrow's match my boy."
Rahul: Thank you Sir.
Arnav said, "Your problem is solved now. Cheer up."
Rahul: I thank both of you. Without you all, it would not have been possible.
Lakshya & KT go to the college. They get close to each other. Another collegian, Vaidehi is madly in love with him. She is jealous of KT that Lakshya is close to her.
KT goes to the washroom. While coming out, she suddenly finds herself locked. KT knocks the door but no one is there to help her out. Lakshya is in search of her during the break but does not find her. He thinks, "KT might be in the washroom but how can I go to the girls toilet to check?"
He tries her number but is unable to reach. Lakshya then goes out of college premises & tries her number. The phone rings. KT picks the call.
Lakshya: Where are you?
KT: I'm in the washroom since morning. Somebody has locked me.
Lakshya then sees the the servants & tells the ladies, "Somebody has locked my friend. Can you please check?"
The lady said, "I'm not aware."
Lakshya dials the number & connects her to KT. She then goes to the washroom & opens the door. KT comes out. She is as frightened as ever. Lakshya comforts her.
