Harman Baweja allegedly refused a Tips film opposite Bipasha Basu because he thought she was too old for him

Harman Baweja has just started his innings in Bollywood, but he already has a list of who he won't work with. And Bipasha Basu figures in it.
The actor refused a film by Tips with Bipasha saying that she was too old to be paired with him! Harman made it clear that he only wanted to work with young actresses.
Says a source, "Although Harman Baweja's debut film has yet to release, he has been getting a lot of offers. He has given the nod to a Tips project but they are having trouble finding a project with which Harman doesn't find fault."

The source continues, "They first offered him a film with Kareena Kapoor to be directed by Mohit Suri, but he refused the films as he found it, "too bold". So the movie was shelved. Then the company came back with a another project to be directed by Kuku Gulati with Bipasha Basu, but Harman turned down this one as well."
The film was to go on the floors on November 24; but with the actor's refusal, the film has now been shelved.
Harman's PR denies that Harman refused the film because of Bipasha. "That's not true. Harman is more than thrilled to be working with Bipasha, we just had some script issues and the heads of Tips and Harman will be meeting soon to discuss it. As far as the age reason goes, that is totally untrue, Priyanka Chopra and Bipasha come in the same age bracket, so that's not the reason at all."

Its not like he looks any younger than Bips. And you see soo many actors and actresses paired together regardless of age difference. Aishwariya is older than Abhi, Hrithik, Akshay khanna,Vivek,..heck she's even older than Bips! Do you think he'll refuse to do a movie with Aish..I think not!

He is putting on alot of airs by refusing films just like that. First he needs to prove he is worth all the hype. Ah, some of these industry kids, I tell you, they want everything on a silver platter. Have not seen any other Mohit Suri films other than Woh Lamhe. But I really liked it alot.
