Mouni feels that her character in 'Naagin' was one of her career-defining roles. Naagin was a love story of an ambitious tycoon Ritik who believed that love and religion are distractions as they make you weak. Whereas, his beliefs are challenged when he came face-to-face with Shivanya, Mouni Roy.
Nowadays, Mouni Roy who hails from West Bengal, is seen hosting the dance reality show 'So You Think You Can Dance'. The actress made her small screen debut with 'Kyunki...' and has come a long way.
