"Gosh!! She's extremely beautiful..." his inner self screamed.
Randhir's gaze captured each and every feature of her face and his heart fluttered. After wishing Bon voyage to his mind, he slowly touched her soft supple cheek and she closed her eyes as if in a reflex. He traced his thumb all over her delicate face before finally landing on her luscious lips which were slightly parted, thus asking him to take it. He bent towards her further as his other hand moved down to her waist.
She inhaled sharply feeling his touch. Neither of them wanted to stop. They felt as if they were craving for this since decades. Randhir slightly brushed his nose tip on her cheek, slowly dragging till her lower chin. They were drowned in their own world and suddenly the phone rang again bringing them back to reality. Urgh... Kabab mein haddi!!!
Sanyukta's eyes sprang up and she pushed him off her immediately. Randhir too came back to his senses and when he tried to get up, his hand landed on the phone by mistake, brushing over the answer icon. He immediately tried to end the call, but instead he turned the speaker on.
"Hello Miss.Dumb head!! Are you there?? Why didn't you attend my call all this while??" Rehaan asked over the phone while Randhir fumed from head to toe. Who the hell is he to call her by such names? Silence engulfed the room for a moment before Rehaan continued with his speech.
"I have booked the tickets for us Sanyu. Be ready at 3 sharp. I'll pick you up. Its a Romcom starring Ranbir kapoor just like the way you wanted. We will have dinner after the movie and I'll drop you home. Okay??" asked Rehaan.
Randhir was ready to burn Sanyukta then and there for lying to him. She told she's not in mood to watch movies right?? Then why the hell she has asked Rehaan to take her out?? Randhir looked at her intently and Sanyukta looked everywhere except at him.
"Oyi... Sanyu!! Bolo kuch" Rehaan insisted, upon not getting any response.
"Hey... She's not coming anywhere. You understand?? Take someone else or go alone. If you want, I can pay you the ticket fare tomorrow. For now, Thanks and good bye" Randhir barked at Rehaan and switched off the phone.
Within no time, Randhir marched towards Sanyukta who was standing near the bed like a lost puppy. He grabbed her upper arm and brought her closer. After mustering up a little courage, Sanyukta looked at him finally
"You lied to me." He stated but she kept quiet which made his anger to reach its peak
"You always love to talk right?? Then why are you silent now?? Speak up!!" he bellowed to which she shuddered in fear.
"Rann... Randhir listen! Me and Rehaan are not going to any movie. He's just blabbering something..." she lied again, trying her best to control his rage
"Wow Sanyukta!! You mean to say that Ranbir kapoor is a spiritual advisor?? So you guyz are going to attend his spiritual campaign?? Ooh my goodness... I thought he's an actor" he mocked her stupidity.
"Stop lying over and over again Sanyukta. Now before I do anything worse, speak up. When you were all ready to watch a Rom-com, why did you deny coming with us? Haan?? We people are not ghosts to eat you up Sanyukta!!" Like this, his criticism continued without letting her speak.
Is he mad because she lied to him or because she has planned a date with a guy which is not him?? He didn't know exactly.
"Randhir stop" she finally spoke making him to end his elocution.
"Yes. I lied. I didn't want to go anywhere with you guyz. Are you happy now?? You want to know why?? I'll tell you" she started while Randhir stared at her in confusion and removed his hold from her shoulders.
"Whenever we all go out, have you ever seen me around or atleast thought where I was? I bet you wouldn't. You would be busy with your own world, busy in flirting with Ishika. We always go out to have fun Randhir. Yes... I agree! But why am I always left alone? Once we all go somewhere to hang out, Parth will go alone with Vidushi, Jiggy with Koustuki, Sahil with his girlfriend Preeti, and YOU with Ishika. And I'll be left all alone. I definitely can't stoop so low to follow any couple and make them feel uncomfortable or spoil their privacy. So what am I supposed to do?" she explained her side with hurt clearly evident in her eyes.
"If loneliness is what I'm going to get, then so be it. Let me stay at home. Let me enjoy my life myself!" she spoke and her voice became heavy.
Randhir didn't know what to say. He looked at her with a tinge of guilt in his eyes. He has made her sulk alone all this while and she never complained. He tried to hold her hand gently but she withdrew it immediately.
"Sanyukta... Come with us. Trust me. You will not be left alone this time" he tried to convince her and held her hand affectionately which she withdrew again.
"No. You're lying. You're saying this now but loneliness is the one which I'm going to get at the end of the day. Who will take me with them Randhir? Nobody. Leave others Randhir... Will YOU take me?? No right?? You will certainly not. Then how can I expect others??" she whispered with a sad smile, her gaze busy adoring the floor.
Randhir immediately grabbed her hand and held it firmly, giving her no room to pull back this time.
"I will. I will take you with me." Randhir replied taking her by surprise.
