Ch 23 : Realization Of A Heart

They say- Love is the realization that someone is more important to you than yourself. And its meaning, he couldn't understand until today. He knew, any day, he would choose her over himself or anyone for that matter. For him, bringing a smile on her face would first priority. He had fallen for her without even realizing or wanting. Love-A four letter small word but held a deeper meaning. For him- Love, it was a bitter feeling until now. He never truly experience what love is. Before he could fall in love with the girl he liked, She left him by betraying him in worst way possible. He was hurt, so much that he gave up the on the feeling called love. Then came the girl named taani, the cutely weird, innocent girl who brought a protective side in him.

She proposed, he rejected her since he wasn't ready to fall in love again. It held no importance in his life, but she proved him wrong. Without doing anything, she pulled him toward herself. The feel to have her near him all the time increased, so did the need to protect her from any kind of pain. He fool to not realize he was falling for the innocent girl whom he rejected once. The feeling called love, he was running away from it. But when the realization of being in love with taani dawned, he realized what a beautiful it could be.

He doesn't know why he love her. He doesn't know if he love her outer beauty or her inner beauty more, may be both! He doesn't know any reason to say why he love her. He simply love her. He love when she laugh. He love when she pout. He love when she gets irritate and blabber about things. He love when she eat sweets like a child. He love when she gets angry, which happens rarely though but still. He simply love everything about his adorable girl.

His adorable girl? Does he even has the right to call her his? Even after how much he had hurt her? He didn't knew. He doesn't know if she will accept him after what he had done to her. She might forgive and take him in since she is too good hearted for her own good,but he won't be able to forgive himself for the pain he had put her through.

But he was now more determine to make her his and shower his love on her, make her feel more special than she already is. But before confessing his love to her, he will win her over, he will make her trust him and his love. He knew she still loves him, it was visible in her every gesture.

It was him who was stupid enough to ignore her pure love and doubt her intentions. He was such a fool. He forced her to accept she mean nothing to him and never would. But he will change that. He will make her believe, she is the only that matters to him. She is the only one who means everything to him.

In daze, his eyes rose to her downcast ones. They were alone in the hospital room, after much force from her side and assurance from his side, the shekhawat men has left for home for dinner since it was close to midnight.

"Why didn't you went home? You need rest." Taani mumbled softly. She lifted her eye lashes and look at him, she was surprised when he volunteered to stay back with her and surprisingly though, her over possessive brothers and father agreed.

"Its fine." Rey assured her, giving a small smile to her.

"I had asked ronak to bring dinner for you. Hospital's food is so bland and yuck, you won't like it." Taani told him, making him smile at how cute she sounded.

"Oh! So, princess doesn't like hospital's food." He teased her, he watched as she giggled softly. The melodic sound of her laughter had a soothing affect over him.

"I like spicy food. And pizzas with coke. Yummy!" Her mouth watered remembering those tasty, spicy dishes but unfortunately, she won't be having any of them till few days. Rey smiled at her, he loves when she talk to him with hesitation.

"So i will bring pizza for you tomorrow." Rey told her. Her eyes snapped toward him in surprised while a child like smile was playing on her lips.

"Really?" Taani asked him to confirm.

"Yes." Rey gave a heart leaping smile to her.

"Hello, guys!" The door the room clicked open and a smiling Ronak stepped inside.

"How are you feeling now, di?" Ronak asked her. Ronak walked over them and he handed food parcel to rey who thanked him.

"I am good, Ron." Taani smiled at her brother.

"Rey bhai, after dinner you can go home. You are here since afternoon, you need some rest." Ronak said to rey, feeling grateful for him to be their support in such difficult time. And he also didn't missed to see the concern and worry in his eyes for taani. He knew his sister was wrong when she said Rey doesn't feel anything for her. There is something and he hoped, Rey too feel same for taani since he want his sister to get happiness which is with Rey.

"No, Ron! I am fine here." Rey denied politely. He didn't want to leave taani, he knew Ronak will be here to take care of her but for his own satisfaction and peace, he wants to stay back.

"Rey, you will fall ill. You were on your toes since morning and you should get some rest now. Please go home and sleep." Taani said to him in pleading tone which was hard to argue with. Rey sighed, how could he deny her when she is asking to so lovingly and not to forget the concern which was visible in her tone.

"Fine! But i will come early in the morning." Rey agreed, although he didn't wanted to.

"Okay. Now have your food." Taani passed a cheeky grin to him, making his heart burst with joy. He can never get tired of staring at her smiling face.
