It's just not the 2 episodes, but I feel he has been this way for the past 2 weeks or so.

He looks really drained & tired...maybe working without breaks can take a toll.

Remember him saying in his recent IV...he felt it was inhumane working 7 days.

It's true...at some point the strain will show up.

It's sad...here he is being professional & working hard , putting in his best but it shows eventually.

The spark is somewhat missing. Even when he was happy with the kids & laughing, it showed.

This is my feeling

But will continue to watch for him till the end.

Great post. As you said and also since the leap mishal's portrayal of VIP lacks the conviction it used to have. Can't pretend to know the reason but it seems from all the reply of all the fans who watched it from the beginning feel the same.

Since the face off episode which had amazing performance from mishal he seems tired, detached to the show.

One r off the reason we fan feel VIP is not the same because after the leap the only familiar chracter he is interacting with is km. So simple reason could be he is missing his costars and getting used to the new one.

Testimonial to his great effort to make this show work is how well he gelled with Eisha in romantic track which the ph moved ahead to gain trp. Though Eisha did come around and supported her costar he put the initiative first. Maybe that's what lacking in New dhani. In the face off episode felt She was unwilling (as sanjeetha is an experienced actor I could only think she is not giving her 100%) to reciprocate in a emotional scene which needed her input. I don't see her trying to connect with any of the costars even with dl the scenes looks empty.

Whatever the reason I hope and pray the story moves in a reasonable track which revolves around our hero for whom many of us still watching this once unique show. All the very best to mishal as always felt he and Eisha put so much more than required to make this show, with markers who never had the dignity to portray what they promised these talented actors in terms of story.
