It is our problem.
We support stars and films. We support crass dialogues and songs. We enjoy blabber mouth interviews.
We know about crimes of each star yet we keep supporting them blindly.
While stars happily stash money in foreign accounts (Panama leaks anyone?), grab lands at throwaway prices, incite communal pogroms or use own fame to whitewash criminal legacy of murderous PM/CM candidates, have terror and underworld mafia links and whatnot.
Our fault to spend so much time, money and pay this much attention to these people who were looked down upon as nothing more than minstrels and bhands in past.
Just look how lowly they think of human life! If they can compare street dweller to 'sadak ka kutta' then why expect respect for women from them? If they do charity for publicity, and then act like they must be worshipped, then fault is ours for patronising them.
Even C grade celebs who come to defend Salman on TV every few months have used worst language for commoners, and shown their dirty mentality.
They don't give a damn about us. Then why do we?
Our problem that we are such escapists that we make false gods and go in hordes to whichever place these idols are or spend hard earned money merely at sight of these faces.
We are the fools here.
