There was a big blooper in yesterday's episode. They said that all the properties were in Ruhi's name. Now Ruhi was thought to be dead for 7 long years, and her identity was just discovered. How would anyone leave the properties in the name of a dead child for seven long years? Would it not have been the most natural thing to have transferred it to Pihu and or Adi's names when they thought that Ruhi was gone? This is a very strange development upon which the whole current plot is resting. No one is questioning this in the Bhalla household --not even Ishita. What is more funny is that even Ashok and Nidhi are acting as though it is the most normal thing to keep the properties in the name of a dead person.

Property tax needs to be paid for the possesion and enjoyment of any property. And this tax can be paid only by the legal heirs of the deceased.Since ruhi was a minor ,her property would have automatically gone to raman as he is the dad and not to her siblings on any account.Property tax is paid annually. The very first instalment would have been made in the legal heirs name.In the event of the return of the deceased ,just like divorce, there is a legal route for it to be changed back to ruhi's name.As of now it cannot happen automatically.
While 7 yrs clause may be cited for divorce, which should have been registered for remarriage. This property title need not take the legal route for title change,as it was due to the death of the title holder. And heirs will become AUTOMATIC tilte holders, immediately w/o any legal route .And the title change happens at the time of tax pay payment, which is annually.
Just a legal clarification for some dumbos. My citation applies to Indian laws.I believe, raman n ishu have changed their religion and nationality.
