Where lies your happiness?!

Dev/Neha - Their past has given the strength and wisdom that they have today.. Instead of celebrating it they are letting it haunt them!!. They can't change it; can't forget it; but they can accept it and move on... And that too gracefully taking it as life's beautiful experiences.. It's beautiful because they are not there anymore.. They should move ahead not holding on to the bitterness that it had that time... But they still regret it... They don't realize that if not for that past they would have been a different person today.. If they are not happy with what they are today then they will never be happy about anything tomorrow...

And this is what Ranveer says "You are not happy with middle class lifestyle then that's your problem"!!!

If Neha loves Ranveer then it's for what Ranveer is as a person now.. Not because what he could be tomorrow.. If Ranveer loves Neha then it's for what she is..

It's their thought process that's calling out the differences.. Ranveer has known about Neha's unhappy past.. He doesn't have a problem with that.. Because he sees the same situation in different eyes and finds it beautiful.. And he accepted that Neha is not in the same zone in the thought process of his when she not accepted his proposal.. Then she accepted her love for him.. Not sure what she liked or loved in him.. If Ranveer changes his values then as a personality he fails.. What value does he hold for himself then? What if Neha doesn't like that flexibility in him? Again he should change? What is Ranveer as a person then? What if the earning is not enough for Neha? What if she can't shop jewelry everyday with his professor salary? Is she ready to give him the chance to try on his own to do something about their lifestyle or does she want everything to be ready-made even before she steps into it? Is Ranveer going to be sitting aimlessly not doing anything at all? In that case Neha sure should have second thoughts of committing her life with someone if his aim matters to her!!! And not blame him for being aimless.. Then obviously you both are not made for each other!!!

Both Dev and Neha haven't accepted their past gracefully yet.. They dread it and they would do anything, anything to not go back there.. In that thought process they might not value what's there in their hands.. They are holding their happiness onto things outside them not within themselves.. That's the problem Ranveer and Sona trying to bring into light here but I am sure that's not coming out well.. Happiness is an inside job.. Not sure whether the writers are inclined in that direction or just trying to showcase an ideal scenario of how love should not be materialistic.. It's more about the happiness that these people are referring to...

Neha is trying to put the keys to her happiness in someone else's pocket and keep blaming them for her lack of being happy with whatever she can...

Dev sees happiness in how much he can have and not in how much he can enjoy with what he has...

Difference of traits can never be hurdles to relationship as long as one understands the difference.. But difference in core values of life and about happiness in life.. Naah.. The relationship goes weak there... Not sure what the writers are focused here...

Dev and neha suffered a lot in the past.but now there life is changed.but they can't forget it...

Here dev is trying to give a better life for his sister.

When we fall in love with some one we never think their status or financial background.we love the person with their qualities.

Here i am totally agree with ranveer.ranveer is a person who suffered a lot and he achieve it by himself.he is independent person.on that way dev's offer it is insult for his self respect...

But as a good brother dev is only trying to give a better life for his sister...

Agree that Dev as a responsible brother trying his best to keep Neha happy with whatever possible from his side.. No problem with that.. He can even support her financially as long as he could.. As a family he can understand the flaw in his sister's and even accept it.. But not necessary that he justifies her demands.. Here Dev appears to be in agreement with the same thought process of Neha...
