Yesterday, was a clear pointer in terms of why Ram's plans are flopping left, right and centre. And it has to do with neither Sumo nor Shravan being a replica of the older generation..

I guess I will have to make a post today on my reading of this case😃

And... one more clue as to why we are missing the point... it was Shravan Malhotra who gave her the name Sumo... an intrinsic quality of Suman's personality which nobody was aware of (not even Nanu or Push), in fact, not even Sumo herself.

Think about why did he coin the name Sumo.. and many things would be clear to you😉

Love... can it exist without self respect and trust? Cant it exist with a little bit of self respect and trust but not at all times? Most often than not, in real life while we value our self respect we do part it in the side for our loved ones. Trust we trust our loved ones but not always and not at all circumstances. There would always be an exception to the rule. eg. Do we eat Bitter gourd because we love, trust and respect our mom and dad? Or simply not marry someone that they are not ok with but you are head over heals in love with? No right! So end of the day it comes to our choices too. And how that choice affects the person we love and how you would react to that persons reaction.

Love is not simple... in essence it is not just between 2 people but it is between multiple people and it varies with relationships. For Shravan it is not just R or S. It is both! He needs to understand that first, then comes balance.

Coming to Shravan's love... does he love, respect and trust Suman? Definitely yes!! But... here comes the riders... She is a woman, so she cannot be respected for many things, can she be trusted? Yes she can be trusted with some things but definitely not with others. Most often women are trusted in the kitchen but not in finances.. vice versa for men this is our traditional family system. Does not mean one does not love the other... its just that there are areas of love and areas of trust. Most married people would know how this works. It varies with people.

In the current situation Suman is pitted against Ramnath...Shravan instead of choosing both, blindly sides with his dad. That is his condition. Attack my dad and I would give you nothing. He thinks he looses nothing in the bargain.

He does not evaluate the situation because irrespective of his dad being right or wrong Shravan he knows the truth or not he looses his dad! In all this he never really considered what if, he looses Sumo forever! After all, she always comes back to him be it 10 years 10 days or 10 months. And even if it she does not.. he would be safe from the hurt of loving her. But every one has their limits and Shravan crossed that limit with Sumo.

Does that mean he never trust or respect her? No. But when she is pitted against his father, this is her stature. But imagine her pitted against Berry... you know, who gets slapped.

Shravan loves Ramnath to nuts and he loves Sumo to pieces. With Ramnath there is loyalty attached to the love. But with Sumo its that of equals and everything is always at extremes. Ramnath corners Shravan and he succumbs. Ramnath wants to keep Shravan with him with lies and all...

The question now is what would Shravan do when it finally hits him that he is going to need to face the truth or loose Sumo forever? Ramnath has pushed him and Sumo is going to push him back again... will Shravan face the truth? What do you think?

This character of Shravan is layered as Sumo is... but, he is more so... because in his case, the layers are slowly peeling off. Yesterday's Namik's was brilliant (Sorry digressed😆) but, it made so many things clear to my mind which were confusing till yesterday

Yes, he is trying to solve this mess... and unfortunately, this mess requires more than legal skills.It requires him to be emotionally intelligent... one which would satisfy both parties... unfortunately, the parties which he does not want to choose

But, then as JK Rowling said.. you only become who you are, after you choose... so choose he would have to

And that would lead the story on with Sumo doing the needful from the other side

Love bhi karega, respect bhi dega aur worship bhi karega:). Yeh ladki isko theek karke rahegi, yeh to fake swag hain to hide his inner vulnerability, she will annihilate it to reach the real Shravan. And that's why I don't want her to give up on him, attitude dekhai, usko grovel karwaye, line par le aai- but chod kar kabhi na jae. Sorry I'm a die hard romantic and love this pair too much.

you are SO right! 🤗 he will have to update his skill to (re)apply for the position of a good life partner😆 - one which he thinks does not exist by the way- imagine the learning curve he'll have to tread with no example to fall back on 😕 and with constant challenges thrown from sumo

Agree with what you said few days back I made a post Understanding and Trust do read it if you can and want 😆quoting few lines from there

For any relationship mutual understanding, mutual trust and mutual respect is important. These are the key ingredients and without them no relationship could survive know matter how much you are in love with the other person. The four characters of our show and there interrelationships with each other are very good example of that weather it's Shravan-Sumo, Nirmala-Ramnath, Shravan-Ramnath or Shravan-Nirmala.

Let's begin with our favourite duo Shraman

Their relationship has always lacked one of these ingredients if not all according to my understanding ten years back they were best friends and Shravan was in love with Sumo did he respected her yes did he trusted her maybe but did he understand her no reason he always saw the girl Sumo which was merely a mask of Suman he never saw the real girl and her pain and her issues whereas Suman always saw Shravan for who he was for real so she has better understanding of him then he has of her which is also present date situation.Today after ten years he asked for her friendship but all the three qualities mentioned does not exist in their relationship from Shravan's side does he understands her no, respect her and trust her hell no. It's not like these qualities doesn't exist from his side at all it does but it's conditional. So it was bound to happen what is happening now and what happened ten years back they separated bcoz of both their shortcomings. Now future tracks will bring all these aspects to their relationship making it strong and unbreakable
