Housefull3 Finishing Below its predecessor- Can we call it successful?

Housefull 3 And TE3N Box Office Update

Housefull 3 dropped at the start of the third week as it faced major competition with the release of Udta Punjab. The collectons of Housefull 3 till date are as follows..

Week One - 80,02,00,000

Week Two - 23,14,00,000

Day 15 - 60,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,03,76,00,000

The third Friday has seen a drop of over 80% and this drop makes it tough for the film to reach 110 crore nett. The film has done well enough but has not really gone through with collections after the first week.

H2 which was released back in 2012 netted around 115cr but H3 falling short of it. H1 released back in 2010 managed to collected around 75cr pave away for the franchise and H2 cashed in big time raked moolah. Can we say same thing about H3? i dont think so even though individually its a HIT film but overall it has taken the franchise backwards. Thoughts?

It is ofcourse successful if we take its BO status into consideration, as it has imn a way hs paved way for Housefull 4.

But if compare it to HF2, it has lagged behind

if there is no growth H4 might end up not being among the successful films

H3 is just a pakao movie with hardly any funny moments. with marketing , item songs by lead actress and few hear & there funny moments they carry forward the brand houseful. We hv to look at the budget , if it is around 100 cr than certainly it loose its course by comparing collection of H2 ,H1 with respect to budget. No more H4 😆

Unlike other big franchises like Dhoom which showed tremendous Growth and even Krrish series maintained the steady growth but comedy franchises like Kya kool hai hum Dhamaal refused to grow. Housefull series is much better than this comedy series but maybe its the indication they should nt be thinking about another film.
