Honestly speaking, I thought everything was going a bit too fast with Dev's confession. With him being an absolute love struck puppy, it was little too difficult to digest that I was seeing a new person on the whole. Having said that, I'm loving the new Dev & the way the story is shaping. I felt that they should have stretched this transformation slowly, maybe for another 4-5 episodes...But then I began to wonder, why delay the inevitable? Or maybe falling in love, for Dev, was truly a roller coaster ride. One moment he was deliriously happy, then anxious & then desperate the next moment. Or maybe we're heading to the crux of the show? Ishwari-Dev-Sona. How Dev will find himself entangled between both of them.
Ishwari, after the whole engagement fiasco is still worried sub-consciously about the deal & how it would affect Dev. She was clearly surprised when she saw the "raunak" on his face, at the dining table. And I hope this is etched into her mind so that when the time comes she'll figure out the reason behind her son's happiness. She's also going to remember the excuse he gave, when he'd wanted to sit on the dining table & work, saying that this chair is better for his back. Ishwari is very smart; it's just that she's clouded by so many things & that's why she isn't able to connect the dots. Well, Radha Rani will do the connecting soon.
Ishwari does like Sona. Whenever Ishwari was upset, she would casually blurt out how she truly felt about the situation to Sona (not literally though). She needed someone to listen to her & Sona was always around. Or maybe Sona was the only one in that house who didn't know much about the struggle Ishwari & her family had to go through to reach this far. Sona was easily approachable for Ishwari. But she's going to remember all the lies that Sona spun to be with her son. She's not going to forgive her for that & she'll be crushed to know that her son was also involved in all this. That'll be the time when Dev will have to make his choice.
Like normal couples, Dev & Sona are going through the dizzying phase of being in love, the stolen glances, the stolen gestures & the rootna mannana phase. When Dev was delayed, he apologized for the delay & Sona immediately forgave him & said,
"Aapke aise hasne se mujhe khushi hogi? Lagtha hai ki aapke happy eyes dehke mere man ko khushi millagee? Jab lagtha hai tho, sahi lagtha hai."
This is Sona! I love her honesty & maturity. She honestly tells him what she feels & the maturity in her forgives him instantly. And this is what he's going to remember about her. When Ishwari comes into the picture, he'll definitely apologize to Sona, for whatsoever reasons & she'll instantly understand him & forgive him. It's all about understanding, adjusting & accepting. The way this story is going is pretty awesome.
Dev's day at the office was well spent š By taking note of every single detail about Sona from all her social media sites?? š²š² Sona has definitely become his obsession. He noticed her status, "I love clouds." Aww this guy is gorgeously cute. How he wants to know every minute detail about her is just too baffling. Maybe, he may not be able to do too much of this in the future (Yes I'm being a pessimist here). This is the phase of desperation & to want. And he's doing that. Loved how she holds his hand & lovingly calls him Dev' & tells him that if he wants to know more about her then know it directly from her & not from any social media sites. Enjoy the pleasure that real experiences can give.
The hug scene was so beautiful. They didn't want to leave each other, but they had to. That hesitation & that sense of loss, even if it was for a few hours, were clearly seen in them. I find Dev's hand gesture of saying a bye super cute? Guess it's more of a Shaheer thing.
So glad that Sona took time to tell Elena & Saurab about Dev's feeling for her. That moment when you get caught is actually very thrilling & exciting. Loved their bonding.
Dev is in his la la land listening to music, when Nikki, Riya & Ishwari walks into his room. They were very sure that Dev wasn't going to agree to Nikki wanting to go for the college trip. But they were taken aback when he without any hesitation asked Nikki to go ahead & give her name too. Nikki & Riya were surprised why their elder brother was so happy & different when he was meant to be the usual grumpy, angry man. That's the Sona effect my dear girls. It's such a mystery that Ishwari agrees to everything that Dev says when it comes to her daughters. But when it comes to Dev, he's always a constant worry for her. Still worried about the deal, she is scared that the deal will ruin Dev's hard work. But Dev convinces her that he'll take of everything if at all anything happens. She's convinced now. But will she be convinced about Dev & Sona's love for each other? Only time will tell. She randomly says that once she told nutrition that, "Mera Dev humesha doosro ke baare mein sochke faisla kartha hai." The word nutrition' catches his attention & he immediately wants to know what Sona said. To which, Ishwari says that Sona never says anything. It was always her who talks to Sona. Ishwari will be very unhappy that Dev took this decision of wanting to be with Sona without thinking about her. Dev, being the doting son continues to say, "Mera har faisla mein tu mere saath hai, aur kya chahiye?" Dev...you've no idea, is all I've to say!
Looking forward to the Dev's new chilli diet! š
Note: Never fall for any social media information. It may or may not be true. Stay wary of yourself & be alert :) Kinda felt that they wanted to tell us this.
