CH 19 : Feeling Complete

"So, Its done. We will sign a petiton in college and submit it to the college trusties." Sharon announced at the end of the meeting. After thinking alot, they all had come to an conclusion, they were going to prove authorities wrong regarding dance ban and asked for a chance, to prove themselves.

"I wish kriya was here. It would have been so easy, she was so passionate about dance. I am sure, she would have handled this situation perfectly and bring us out of this problem." Vishakha, out of no where, spoke and put thoughts out.

"So you mean, we aren't passionate about dance to bring it back in our lives? aren't capable enough to fight our own battle?" Rey snapped at her, angry at vishakha. But surprisingly though, he wasn't as hurt as he used to be, at the mention of kriya. It was like, she had stopped affecting him. Her memories and betrayal has faded away, no longer haunting him.

Has he really moved on? Has he forgotten his past? Yes! His mind screamed in approval. Her betrayal doesn't matter to him. She no longer seems to affect him, neither in bad way nor in good. It was like, his mind and heart, both has chose to accept the fate and move forward in life. Rey was surprised at the change in him, but this change hasn't happened over night and there was a person, who is the reason behind this change, he very well knew the person who has occupied his mind and soul, made him forget the bitter past without even trying anything from her side.

"Rey, Relax." Sharon stepped forward and calmed him, knowing her best friend's anger, she doesn't want a fight i between friends when they are suppose to stand together and fight against the dance ban in the college.

"Swayum, where did ronak and taani went?" Rey turned to swayum and asked him, its been almost an hour taani had went out with ronak.

"They must be out to eat. They both are complete foodies, even yesterday they went to chaupati to have street food-" Swayum chuckled, as he answered him. Rey smiled, happy to hear about something new about taani.

With Ronak, He was getting to see a completely new taani. Taani, the simple, sweet girl never failed to amuse him. When he thought, he know her completely, she would come and show a completely new side to him. She has so many different shades and he was still discovering the real her.

He was lost in his own thoughts when he heard the melodic sound of her laughter, he looked up and found her entering the house with Ronak by her side, both were laughing over something.

"Hello, Guys!" Both the brother-sister duo came toward them and greeted them.

"Where you both went?" Swayum asked them.

"We went for a pizza treat." Ronak grinned, as he answered his elder brother.

"You guys continue, I have to cook dinner, all must be hungry." Taani said to them and moved toward kitchen but Ronak stopped her.

"Di, you don't have to. We can order from outside." Ronak said to his sister, who tried arguing but a voice from behind, cut her off.

"Yea! How will you cook for so many people? Its better if we order from outside." Rey interrupted and said to taani, who looked quite tires and he doesn't want her to tire herself further more by cooking.

"See, even Rey bhai agreed. Now go and take rest, I will order food." Ronak grinned at his sister's pouty face. He kissed her cheek and pushed her toward her room. Taani sighed and walked inside her room.

"Why do you treat her like she is some delicate glass doll?" Vishakha questioned Rey and Ronak, quite amused seeing their behavior toward taani.

"Because for me, she is the most precious person and i wouldn't want her to get tired by cooking for my brother's friends. She is not a servant." Ronak, who still doesn't like vishakha, snapped at her arrogantly.

"Okay fine! I can understand your behavior, but what about you, Rey? These days you look too much concerned for her-" Vishaka turned to Rey and asked him, her question left Rey tongue tied. Ronak look at vishakha then turned to Rey, who was trying hard to think of something reasonable to answer to vishakha.

"Why are you so much interested in others personal life? Concentrate on yours, it will be better for you." Ronak told vishakha, narrowing his eyes at her over-curious self, Vishakha was about to retort but sharon interrupted.

"Guys, stop all this and think about presentation, We need to prepare a presentation to show it to authorities." Sharon said aloud.

"I know someone who can prepare a perfect presentation for us." Rey said to them, all the curious eyes turned to him.

"Who?" Sharon asked him.

"Taani. She is really good in all this, she can prepare a perfect presentation." Rey said to her, sharon nodded in agreement. Rey look around, at his friends for any kind of disapproval from their side, but when he saw none, he continued.

"Great! I will go and talk to her, I will explain everything to her." Rey said to them, He got up and walked toward her room.

Rey knocked on the door and waited for her response. Once he got her permission, he pushed the door open and stepped inside the room.

Taani, who was seated on the bed, was surprised to see him in her room.

"Rey-" She got up from her place and gave a small smile to him, as he came and stand beside her.

"Hope i am not disturbing you-"

"No. Not at all." She smiled at him. Now things are better between them, now they don't hesitate to talk to each other and has come to a comfortable where one can approach another without any hesitation.

"I came here to talk you regarding our plan. We are planning to sigh a petition in college against dance ban then put our point forward infront of authorities-" Rey started off and informed her about the whole plan. Taani was listening to him carefully.

"Thats great. But how can i help you in this?" Taani asked him, confusingly.

"You need a prepare a good presentation in favor of dance. It will make our point stronger." Rey said to taani, who was in deep thoughts, but then nodded her head in agreement.

"I will do it, don't worry." Taani assured him. They were gazing into each others eyes, smile playing their lips.

But suddenly, lights went off, causing a shriek to escape her lips. She was scared of dark and it was no hidden fact. A rush of panic ran through him, he stepped close to her and wrapped his arms around her.

"Sh. It alright. I am here." He whispered soothingly in her ear.

"I am scared of dark." She mumbled in shaky voice. She had her eyes closed and clutching his tee into her tiny fists tightly.

"I know." He whispered back and hugged her even more tightly, pressing her body more against his own. A shiver ran through him, having her in his arms, did some weird things to him. He buried his face in crook of her neck, inhaling into her fruity fragrance, which had seems to captured his senses.

He couldn't brought himself to think about anything else than the girl in his arms.

With her in his arms, he was feeling complete. Something he never felt before.
