... Followed by the eye lock they shared... For me that was the most poignant moment in the episode.

Here are two people still deeply in love with each other... But they think the other side has moved on with their respective 'partners' ..coming together again for the beloved daughter's sake .. Somehow their reiteration of the sentence was more directed at oneself than the other... as a caution / reminder not to dare to hope for a rekindling of their relationship that they shared till hell broke lose for them 7 years back.

I don't know if I made sense..caught the episode at 11pm rerun after a hectic and long day and this moment just stayed with me..

Other points:

Mrs Bhalla like Amma knows where in lies her son's true love .. Shagun even in her new avatar for 7 years have not been able to wipe out the short time impression Ishita left.. Because she has seen her son living in his own hell pas 7 year's bereft of Ishita's presence in his life
Adi knows his ' mom ' really well... And doesn't mince the words when trying to make her understand why Ishita needs to be there at the Bhalla house .. And her trying to explain to Adi why Ishita being there would be awkward.. was hilarious from a woman who had left her daughter and husband to pursue a greener pastures of 'better life' and has been pretending to be someone's wife for past 7 years .. Was just left at the altar by Raman...but still doesn't find her position awkward
Shagun love for Pihu and her indifference towards Ruhi's happiness shows truly again what makes Shagun tick: Pihu has given her everything including the 4 pheres and a dream/ hope of last 3 to be completed ..which will bring her what she craves, her own secure place in Raman's life despite the fact that she knows that Raman loves Ishita...like always her priorities lie in her one tru love: herself
One little question : has Shagun been sharing a bed with Raman.. I missed the initial part of the episodes post leap.. Please fill me in, if they had shown that.. Because her expression on Ishita being asked to share a room with Ishita looked like she shared more than Raman's wardrobe

I truly hope the Cvs explore the healing of IshRru again in this track.. This time from their mutual MU ... And less on sauten saga v2.0.

both want frm each other bt are afraid of rejection thinking the other has moved on
this time it is ruhi ke liye bt then they weren't in love bt nw they are in love

to ur question,shagun doesn't share bed or wardrobe with raman.
in the frst day after leap of raman's arrival,adi took him to his room and he ws sleeping alone
and Raman's wardrobe contains only his clothes coz one day when raman ws finding his clothes in wardrobe, the wardrobe only had his clothes.

even in precap i saw discomfort in Raman's eyes nt guilt.i can be wrong bt i saw discomfort with slight irritation

I loved the eyelock despite not enjoying the words sirf ruhi ke liye. Their eyes spoke volumes. I wish they understood each other just by looking into each other's eyes.

Adi made me very happy with that conversation he had with Shagun. He knows her in & out. Her white avatar did not blind him even once. I am happy that Puttar and Jr Puttar clearly know her place in the house and in their lives. I wish they always remind her that.

One thing I have to give the Cvs .. Never for once they have shown any confusion about how Raman feels about Shagun or how Ishita feels about Mani.. Yes Raman did a lot of Asli maa crap but everything was for Ishita's eyes only .. He's reached a state of indifference with Shagun which if Shagun had any true feelings for Raman, would have bothered her a lot. But her agenda is clear .. She wants to be Raman's wife .. For the security it brings in . Everything else is secondary

Both r reminding themselves its only for ruhi bt their eyes betrayed them..there ws pain n longing...both r thinking other one has moved on..
Shagun is always selfish thats y always lose everything...
The awkward word ws hilarious from her mouth...😆
As manisha said raman didnt give shagun any right...she has different room ...bt now behaving like she owns raman's room..
In precap i too saw some irriatation n discomfert not guilt from raman's side...

I am so sorry for updating this so late, life has been busy 😳

Thankfully they havent yet decided to take Raman to that low where he would accept Shaggy back in his bed, even though doofus almost remarried her.

I love this scene and how they contrasted it with the flashback where they coined this term for the first time - back then neither had any hopes or expectations of the other, the only person important enough to matter to them was Ruhi and in loving her, they had found love themselves, in each other, with each other - a love they never dared dream was possible for them. That compromise had opened up the doors to happiness and love they thought wasn't meant for them, which had forever evaded them and now when they once again found themselves uttering those very words, this time so deeply in love with each other and yet so hurt, as they come together to save the child who is a part of their hearts and souls, there lies a chasm between them, a distance yawned that has been created with pain and hurt and anger and betrayal as well as so many other emotions...they incredibly find themselves thinking back on the past and dreading to hope against hope that once again, like before those words would bring them happiness and love...but they are too scared to even dream that much less say it out loud though that is all they want

Lovely collage, Gan!

The more I watch this version of Sirf Ruhi Ke Liye, the weaker the entire foundation of the track is...the more obvious are the cracks in the story play, lack of logic, & lack of the male lead POV

But then you have small scenes like this - where they decide to be parents to one of children they greatly failed but the current that's highlighted is their love for each other. This isn't Sirf Ruhi Ke Liye - it's just a small patch to avoid the real issues and MUs in their relationship that deep down, they want to resolve bc it isn't just Sirf Ruhi Ke Liye, it's Ek Duje Ke Liye...it's building a glass house for Ruhi and themselves bc that seems an easier options for some short-term happiness and togetherness

Alas if the remainder of the story could support the above fact, we'd be in for such a treat!

Gan airhead has her own room in ballah house . But she was shocked in 7 years she was acting to be Mrs raman kumar ballah with all sindoor & mangalsutar but not allowed to be with raman under one roof either by toshajii . Ishita in one day with whole family support enter raman life & staying in his room shearing his wardrobe as actual wife do. This is big Bkt 😆

Gan, if I may, you always capture such poignant moments so beautifully. The anguish of "Sirf Ruhi ke liye" is so visible in their eyes and expressions. The tashan and competitiveness of "Sirf Ruhi ke liye" all those years ago is now but a distant memory. But we all know how " Sirf Ruhi ke liye" turned out for them last time...

As for the look you saw on Shagun's face, it was more of a W*F?! I have lived here for 7 years and never been asked/allowed to share Raman's anything, let alone wardrobe or room. This coming off the heels of her convo with Ishita where she admitted she was "insecure" because she got back all she had "lost" and now with Ishita's return... "Ishita share a room with Raman", per Toshi and "Ishita put your clothes in my wardrobe", per Raman. This ALL the day after she tried to massage Raman's head and he jumped like he was touched by a leper and then her walking down and seeing Ishita cozily massaging his shoulders. 😆

I will say it's funny but outside of Pihu, Shagun hasn't been a threat to IshRa in so so long. The attitude of apathy Raman has towards her is remarkable 😆

All Shagun now exists for is to put stress on Ishita & thereby bring "strain" to IshRa, but any sense of any type of "emotional connection" between Shagun and Raman is just jokes

So really outside of comic relief, idk why Shagun exists 😆
