Ravan vs Nari Shakti This is inspired by the promo where Sita threatened Ravan w/ the full retaliation of Nari Shakti 😆
Ravan returned to the palace after his confrontation w/ Sita. Her words about Nari Shakti haunted him, and he saw Kaikesi, Mandodari, Shurpi, Sulochana, Trijata, Shinghnisha et al all eyeing him. Somehow, Sita's words penetrated him and he saw them all as his enemies.
L: I have a special court session here. Only the male rakshashas need be here - all you ladies can leave. In fact, I'd appreciate it if you all went to Sita's place in the midst of bhool bhulaiya, rather than lurk here.
All the females left, and Ravan addressed the assembly that was there in front of him. Malyavan, Indrajit, Vibheeshan, Akampana, et al. He described to them Sita's words.
L: Prajagan, we have the biggest threat we've ever faced. It's Nari Shakti. Looks like all the Naris are rallying behind Sita & plotting against me.
V: Lankesh, behen Shurpi - she too? She was trying to get Sita killed, as you well know
L: Yeah, so that I can't marry her. So doesn't that make her a plotter against me? And speaking of which, what were you doing, working w/ Mandodari and Sulochana?
V: Mandodari is the queen, so for me, she's as good as being you. If she wanted something from me, it was as good as you wanting that same thing. Similarly, I interpreted Sulochana's wish as Meghnad's
I: Well, I helped Sulochana all right, but made sure that Lankesh knew what she was up to
V: Well, that was your decision and discretion.
L: Nonetheless, that was the first display of Nari Shakti. You interpreted plots against me as being in accordance w/ my wishes. Sita seems to be right - Nari Shakti is indeed very powerful if it can cause concepts antithetical to my wishes as being in accordance w/ them
M: Putr, if that is Nari shakti, why don't we divide the Naris and stop the full power of Nari Shakti being used against us?
R: What do you mean?
A: Lankesh, Shurpi was trying to assassinate Sita, when you came in the way. Same w/ Shingshasha. So why not let them try, and let Mandodari & Sulochana be the ones responsible for protecting them, instead of you?
R: I don't like that idea. Shurpi is more likely to win
I: Maharaj, I have another idea
R: What is it?
I: Maharaj, if the females - both human & rakshashas - are united against you, you should have the males - both human & rakshashas unite against them. That's the only way I see this as winnable. Otherwise, it would be Rakshasha males vs all humans and Rakshasha females. We need better numbers, so we need to split the human males vs females
R: But which human males would be of any use to us?
V: They may be of no use in handling Rakshashas, but they'd certainly be very useful in handling human women
R: Okay, but who could we use here?
I: Maharaj, why not Rama & Lakshman themselves? Just like Sulochana is plotting against me and Maharani against you, could be that Sita too had her foibles against Rama & Lakshman
R: We need more info on that
I: Akampana, you were in Panchavati at the time. Anything you found out?
A: Yeah, Yuvraj, now that you mention it. Turns out that Sita was a very hard taskmaster for Lakshman. She was constantly talking down to him, giving him bhashans, emotionally blackmailed him when Mareech called out for help, et al. So I can't imagine Lakshman being that fond of her, except for his loyalty to his brother. Rama too must have been uneasy at her constantly sniping at him - in fact, the day after he cut off Shurpi's nose, he defended Lakshman to Sita
I: Well, that's it, we have our opening
L: Indeed!!! We need to send someone to bring Rama & Lakshman here, so that they can help us defeat this Nari Shakti. Vibheeshan, I assign this task to you. Go to wherever Rama & Lakshman are, tell them about our problems w/ Nari Shakti and bring them here. We need them to help us defeat this Nari Shakti
V: Lankesh, I can do that, but why would they listen to me, when they wanna get back Sita? What's in it for them?
I: Maharaj, I have a suggestion
L: Go ahead
I: We can offer them that if they succeed in defeating this Nari Shakti, then we have a win-win deal for them. They want Sita, right? They'll get back not only Sita, but all the Naris that are in cahoots w/ her. Mandodari, Sulochana, Shurpi, Kaikesi, everybody. So from their POV, they get Sita, and would be justified in supporting us. But we get rid of the entire Nari Shakti - not just Sita, but everyone else. Let them go to Ayodhya and play their havoc there. I've heard that they already have a Manthara & Kaikeyi. Throw all these into the mix, and Ayodhya will become the new Dandaka, and Rama's vanvas will just be a change of venue 😆
L: I love that!!! Vibheeshan, go to Rama w/ this proposal, and get him here so that we can defeat the Nari Shakti
V: Absolutely will, Lankesh
Vibheeshan then set off w/ Akampana to go and find Rama and approach him w/ this proposal
