Re-read the whole thing again up until Ch 16 and I have a better understanding of the timeline this time around. Still can't find any forgiveness in my heart for the bitter and twisted woman that dadi. I know for a fact that you will have to find redemption and forgive this woman in the next few chapters. I am looking forward to how you are going to do that in the next few chapters.

I definitely could have read more of Dev and Tara in this story. I wanted more fleshing out for them.

8 more chapters left to read. I hope they will get a HEA together that so richly deserve😳

Ch 17

As strains of classical music filled the car, he hummed along with it.

She tried to ignore the music but it was a famous tabla maestro. It was some of her favorite sounds to dance.

As the sounds of the tabla maestros' jugalbandi filled the car her feet itched to dance while her hands quietly moved in tune.

Recently I attended a show by Hariharan and Ustad Zakir Husain. And I know exactly .

Ungliyon ka nachna and pairon ka bechaini se thirakna. I understood the exact meaning of this terms. So in my mind I can clearly picturize this scene with Tara in it. Also for all the shame and fear she was feeling, this was the moment when I knew she had not lost her spirit and that she would heal.

For once I am not hating Maan for saying all these hateful things. I can only imagine the confusion and chaos your mind would feel if you are attracted to a person on all levels when you have been told expressly by a trusted person aka Dadi that the person is distrustful.

I am also glad that Geet did not hold back on her side and cleared the air and blame placed on her shoulders immediately.

The one thing I have loved about this Geet throughout this story is her straightforward approach to everything. 👏

It feels awesome catching up with this story again. 😃

Ch 18

Aww I loved both the couples in this chapter😳

And your timing in showing Tara falling in love with Dev was perfect. He has saved her previously of course, but that has always been in terms of his profession. But this time he has gone over and above the call of duty and shown his true mettle.

Not a passionate love, nor a love between two people in ordinary lives, but a devotion, a worship of the humanity in him.

I think this is the right beginning for her. She is nowhere ready for a passionate love, but this is a great start for the two of them.

As for Maan and Geet I love how he goes into all protective mode as afr as Geet is concerned. He is unsure about her, he is unsure about himself but he is following his instinct which is telling him to prioritize Geat and her safety above everything.

Ch 19

She saw Maan punch him hard across his face causing blood to ooze from his face. Like a small child she cried and clapped her hands as Maan punched the living daylights of Rakha.

God tears literally flowed down my eyes as I read this one sentence. I tried understanding and putting in words how Tara would have felt in that moment, but I just could not comprehend it.I felt she was the most real character in this moment. All I wanted to do was reach in and hug her.

Rakha nd Brij are not people I find worthy of expending my words on. 😡

'Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned'

Savitri is the epitome of this quote and one bitter old hag. Will it be too late by the time she realizes that her bitterness is eating away at the very roots of her foundation...her only family...Maan.

Maan is finally seeing Geet for who she is.

Cindy Lauper ka gana yaad aaya. Thought it was perfect for this situation.

Ch 20

God how just how could she be so cruel. That is some serious bitterness old woman😡

Now all the threads have been unravelled. Abhi dooriyan bhi nazdikiyan banne lagi hai humare lovebirds ke beech mein😳

I love that Geet did not give in. She wants him to find that lost link about himself that is so important not for herself, but for him.

I feel another confrontation with Dadi maybe the key to unlocking his memories completely.

Ch 21

It is easier to deal with the saddest of memories on the happiest of days.

Coz you know that those sad days will cast long shadows on the future happiness if they are just swept under the carpet.

You said that you could not give just Maaneet part. It was still a Maaneet part, but it was far in accordance with reality. They are dealing with the sad things and past mistakes because of the closeness and happiness they are experiencing. I think this chapter was a perfect blend of their present joy and their past sorrows.

Best line of all time...".Kya main pavitra hoon"😆
