Though Vandana Sajnani and Rajesh Khattar are always spotted together, any questions about marriage have been evaded. Now after four years of togetherness, the couple has finally taken the decision to walk down the aisle around March-April next year. It is learnt that both the families met recently and a ring ceremony was performed.

Says an onlooker, "The couple have always been open about their relationship.

They have now decided to exchange vows. Vandana has met Rajesh's family in New Delhi and everyone is happy. The couple is looking for a house to move into post-marriage."

We are family

Interestingly, Rajesh is the former husband of Neelima Azim and they have a son, Ishaan. After her break-up with Pankaj Kapoor, Neelima went on to marry Rajesh. Neelima and Pankaj's son Shahid Kapoor is extremely fond of Ishaan.

It is learnt that singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya played Cupid and set them up. Rajesh, who is seen on both the big and small screen, is also a writer and dubbing artiste.

At present he features in the SAB show Left Right Left and will also be seen in Bheja Fry director Sagar Bellary's next project.
The couple met during Vandana's play Please Divorce Me Darling, which stars Rati Aghinotri.

New drama

When asked about the big day, Vandana still prefers to be cautious. All that she is willing to say is, "Yes, lots of good things are happening together and I am extremely happy. We are even getting Lions' Club of SOL awards together this weekend!"

At the moment she'd rather talk about her new drama, ironically called The Perfect Divorce that opens in Mumbai at Rangsharda on Sunday. "Anupama Varma will make her theatre debut and it is a follow-up to my earlier venture The Perfect Wedding." Needless to add, Rajesh is part of the drama!
