i like today sulochana's plan of freeing sita, thou its frictional but i just hoped it would be the truth then sita would had not seperated with ram again , as i never understood the reason of second vanvas of sita. what the teaching in it, some version of ramayan consider raavan more perfect husband than ram coz acc to some versions monkey troop mis treated mandodri to prevent raavan's yagya , but still raavan accepted mandodri without any agnipariksha.
if sulochana plan was reality my 2 wish would had come true
1 ) sita would never given second vanvas
2) meghnath would never died, i dont why i luv lakshman, urmila sulochna & meghnath factor as all four here had fiery personalities, & i see meghnath as a potential villian in lakshmila luvstory. my imaginary mind.
whatt we learn from sita's second vanvas, i could never understood it.

Haha...I like the thought dear. But then there would have been no Ram no Sita. Most versions take the whole abduction scene as a means through which Ravan's death became possible. We might say Ravan was the reason Ram came to existence.
As for Sita's abduction most scholars believe that's a later addition to valmiki's story so disregard it's validity.
I know it's hard to find much lesson or meaning in her vanvas. It's the most tragic event in Ramayan. But then we often view it from the point of view of the society we live in and not from the point of view of the society which prompted such decision from Ram. Maybe the ones who added it or valmiki himself wanted to portray him as a person who could give up personal happiness for his role as a king. Maybe they didn't realise thousands of years later a society would be way more liberal and view things differently.

Most people do say that the Uttara Kand is a later addition, but as we know, every writer has a different way of writing. Maharishi Valmiki may not have written everything in Ram and Sita's life, so we can not say anything. But one thing I can surely say is that this part tells us that Dharma is above all, even family. This is a very important lessons for the leaders of today, who can shred their Dharma into pieces for their own good. And yes, Shilya, you can say that without Ravan, Ram wouldn't have been venerated today.

the learning very well pointed out..it also shows that the path of Dharma is not easy at all...one who is on the path may have to face the situan when he is breaking million times and dying every moment while takin a decsion in a dilemma life has thrown onto him..

but the result of the action was that King Ram succeeded but cannot be said the same for husband Ram no matter he also suffered the extreme pain through separation. OR may be such highest levels of suffering and pain made their love an example of ideal love...ouff...one can interpret the action in so many ways. I guess i will never come to one single take for this action.
