Ready in his formals,Dev is taking a sound nap to makeup for the sleepless night he spent reading the books Tina had ordered.Sona smiled looking Dev in a tranquil state free from any scurry of attending meetings and signing deals.She felt a sudden urge to ease the crease on his forehead.Mami's bitter words and Dev's failure in realizing her love for him inhibited her further actions.She was taking her steps towards the kitchen when Dev woke up from his short sleep.

Dev-Ms.Bose!You have arrived so early?Kicchu Bhaiya is not at home.He has gone to get vegetables for Ma's diet.

Sona-Oh!Fine.Good morning Mr.Dixit.

Dev-Yes!Good Morning.

The wall clock just then struck 8 o'clock alarming Dev.He glanced at his wrist watch and fixed his hair.He was all set to go to office when Sonakshi's words held him back.

Sona-Mr.Dixit! Are you planning to remain a bachelor throughout life?

Dev-Ms.Bose! Who gave you this information? I have not decided anything about getting married.I am having too many responsibilities to handle.

Sona-So do you want to remain bachelor until all your responsibilities are over?

Dev-You can assume that as a cause of my decision of not getting married.I can't put my happiness over someone's happiness.

Sona-But you have to decide and zero down on something Mr.Dixit.You can't keep people waiting for you.Right?

Dev-Absolutely correct.Ms.Bose!I don't want Natasha to wait until I get Neha married off to someone perfectly fit for her.That would take a lot of time.I hope you know how difficult is it to make Neha agree to something.

Sona-I understand.But I would suggest that you should also listen to your heart apart from mind before arriving at any conclusive decision.You look fatigued.I am preparing a purple power juice which will surely rejuvenate you.And yes why don't you discuss with Auntyji about this?

Dev-I had discussed but she too asked to take decisions as my mind and heart dictate.I am fed up Sonakshi.Natasha is trying to impress everyone in family,Mamiji is praising her actions everytime I pass by her,Ma has no possible solutions.I am signing blank cheques,Tina is saying go with the flow and you too are saying listen to heart.Can anyone help me sail out of this conflicting times?I doubt if my mind will remain sane if such scenario lasts for some more days.

Dev-Wait.Ms.Bose! I think Dev is shorter than Mr.Dixit.You better address me with my name and not surname.

Sona-Fine.So Mr.Dixit,I mean Dev,take it easy.I know you have so much to handle but have your own life too.You can't avoid your heart's chirpings and decide analytically only giving priority to every one's happiness and smiles.I think you need a vacation.As per my knowledge,a vacation can only make you feel better and improve your positive outlook to life decisions.

Dev-A vacation? Ms.Bose! I am head of a company.I have meetings to attend and deals to finalize.And you are suggesting me to travel at this critical point of my life?

Sona-I am not asking you to take a month break.Just a day would serve your purpose.There are several places around Delhi like Damdama lake,Manesar,Baghaan Orchard which can help lift your spirits.

Dev-Okay !Fine doctor.I am asking Tina to make necessary arrangements for the trip.You too make arrangements for the trip.I will let you know the place once I decide upon it.

Sona-Am I accompanying you?Dev! You should better take Natasha with you.She is a globetrotter and she can guide you better.I have only visited Manesar once only during college times with my friends.I don't even remember the route.

Dev-Sorry!Ms.Bose.I can't compromise on this decision of yours.You are bound to come along with me.I don't think I need Natasha's globetrotting experiences to spend my day.

Sona-What would Auntyji think,if I accompany you for the trip?Mamiji would not let me join you without taunts.

Dev-Why would Ma think anything.She knows what's your role in this family.Mamiji too knows that I would not leave you and go for the trip.So.Ms.Bose!Relax and pack your bag.Ask Kicchu baiya if you need something for preparing any special diet chart.

Sona-Dev! Special diet chart is for my patients and you...Are you not going alone?

Dev-Ms.Bose!What did you think when I said that you are accompanying me?Ofcourse all are going for the picnic.I don't trust Ma on these outing days.Its safe if you remain with us and check on her diet.Well.I am getting late for office.I will let you know when and which place we are going.And yes don't let anyone know about this trip.I want to surprise them.Please.Its a request.

Sona kept looking at Dev's distancing figure until it vanished behind the maindoor's frame.

Sona-"Mr.Obhodro! You still think me as your mother's nutritionist only?Tumi...Boka!"

She smiled hard at the confusion Dev's word created in her mind and few somersaults she felt in her stomach.She never knew her Prince Charming would be this eka boka only.Smiling she stepped into kitchen to prepare juice for Ishwari before Mamiji pops in to pass her taunts and snide remarks on her work ethics.
