Dev is having a lot of trouble understanding his emotions...I thought I will help him out a little bit.
1. This special person is the one you think about almost throughout the day. You will just sporadically text, call to see how they are doing.. or what they are doing or whatever question..to keep the conversation going. This is the person that you think of when you go to sleep at the end of the day.
2. It is almost as if you are finally able to see life in all its beautiful colours. It makes you feel in ways you didn't think, were possible to feel. It makes you be the person, who you never thought you could turn into. It takes you and your life and sets you in a different course, altogether. Its like you have a new teacher that is teaching you all things beautiful.
3. Suddenly, anything is possible for you. It will seem as if its just you and the other person only and everything else has vanished..all your problems disappeared, and you both might seem almost invincible.
4. You are very jealous, of anyone trying to own the person you love. You sometimes don't even need a valid reason to be jealous..but you are just jealous for very silly things. And you want to establish then and there that the person is yours and only yours.
5. You want someone..But even more important to you now is.. you want that someone, to want you. You want to be pulled in.
6. You yearn. you long. You can miss many people in life that you think you are very close to. But the feeling of yearning is million times more than any normal "missing someone"..you just wish you could fondly touch, hold that one person..hug..share a passionate kiss..or just talk holding onto each other..
7. When you love someone, you give yourself to that person and allow yourself to be completely taken over. You give a right to the other person to see you, in a way, that only you see you. You have opened yourself completely, so its easy to get hurt. The pain that comes with it, is intense. Even a small tiff could bring a lot of sorrow and a lot of pain.
8. You are concerned about this person in a way that you have never cared for anyone before. A small cut, as trivial as a paper cut, a 2 minute delay in arriving somewhere, a slight change in voice, can be extremely concerning for you!
9. Happiness beyond explanation. Its not the happiness you feel when you see your friends or parents or siblings after a long time..Its not the happiness you feel when you buy something that you really really wanted..Its a happiness beyond words can explain. It makes you smile all the time..and the moment you realise that you are loved too.. you feel supraciously ecstatic or any other superlative form of Ecstasy!
10. You are totally confused. There are so many thoughts in your mind. "Why did I meet this person? Why did I fall in love? Are you sure? Is the other person even remotely thinking what I am thinking? But may be this is not even love. Really? could this be? " And in that confusion, you might do anything to the person you love.. unconsciously..unintentionally..And later even feel awkward..
If you think you feel these for someone, then you are surely in Love. And there can be no better time to say "I Love you"
