I have no grudges against Shagun's character. It is played perfectly by Anita.😊
We cannot forget that she sacrificed her love for Manoj to stay with Pihu during her initial years. Yes, I makes me feel sad for her, as she stood there again. Her marriage was treated like a kind of joke.
That family loved her as her own, and so did she love them. But at this point of time, she selfish and insecure. Because she knows that Raman will scum to his love for Ishita.
I think it's completely natural that she doesn't want to let go this opportunity to be with Pihu and Raman. She has cared for them for 7 years.
Though this is TV ki duniya, I'm just glad that Shagun cannot stake claim on Pihu legally! A contract between surrogate mother and actual parents states that the Surrogate Mother cannot and shouldnot complicate the child's life after birth.
