Today's episode established what has been shown in the promos and and for me, the concept of the show: Vividha finding strength in Atharv's love.
Atharv encouraging her to stand up for herself and for what is right made Vividha realized her inner strength. Why does she need anyone fighting for her when she can do it herself? Ironically, this lesson learnt today will prove more valuable when Atharv won't be around for her...it's almost as if he's preparing her for the tough moments coming her way. A lot of men can boast of protecting the women they love but not many can be proud to say they made her strong enough to fight her own battles. That's one striking difference between Atharv and Kailash. Kailash feels a satisfaction in knowing people needs him, when he affirms that his family doesn't need to worry when he's there, it's more out of vanity and arrogance from the power he has than anything else. On the other hand, Atharv, even knowing he can perfectly protect his mother and Vividha, chooses to empower them instead of showing off his own strength.
Loved what he said about his mom raising him up to be a man without the help of any man. The values he has outclass a million times the values Kailash has, he who unjustly co-relates character to the presence of a father.
