by talking what she talked to Krishna ? Why is every one reacting the way they are... he just proposed that he wants to marry Gopi.. what's wrong in it ?She kept saying she was wrong what she thought abt Krishna.. What changed so much in few seconds that she talked as if she thought he was a great guy and now he is not ??😕😡

For Gopi's doctor to suddenly propose marriage after 4 years of caregiving would seem completely out of the blue to the family. Also, Gopi is not in her senses and hasn't even uttered a single word in 4 years. It would be a cold and careless decision to get her married to somebody else while she is still shattered and cannot think clearly. If it was Gopi's own decision, perhaps the family would be calmer about it.

On Kokila's side, Gopi is all she has left in the world. Her intention is to see Gopi well again rather than packaged off to a new husband. For her, nobody can fill her son's shoes, so Krishna's proposal would be equal to him trying to replace Ahem.

But I do agree with you that the writing was a bit OTT. Krishna clearly doesn't want to take advantage of Gopi. The family's overreaction was very strange. And the way Jigar, Paridhi, Monica and Samar have been behaving with Koki lately, why the hell should they care about Krishna wanting to marry Gopi? Hypocrites. 😡

I think she is thinking of the old rituals...that a widow can't get married etc etc... She also never asked nayya to get married this can't be expected from her

Catmittens - I agree with you fully. What I mean to say is he is a great guy, he has taken care of Gopi for the last 4 or 6 years too..Even Kokila knows this.. Kokila was able to care for Gopi with the help of Krishna ... not all by herself since she is old too..

What I felt was the way they all behaved with him was very rude... whether they like it or not is a different story, but slapping him like 3 times is too much.. .They could have said it in a different nice way...

Jigar - where was he all these 4 - 6 years? He did not even care of his Kaki or Bhabhi he spoke words to them.. w*h he had to come and slap Krishna.. he has no right to do that..

Every one including Paridhi and that cartoon Samar's wife talked so badly... With in few seconds, how could they judge that he is a bad guy is beyond my understanding...

I totally agree that Ahem is still in her and she cannot get out of it and it is the truth... For Kokila Gopi is all what she has... But if Kokila thinks in a calmer way she would not have done what she did...

I don't know if Kokila is being selfish but I see an "old lady" who has no immediate family save for Gopi, who may be afraid of being left alone. Well that's the romanticised version anyway. I reckon it all boils down to status and being dealt such a card that society does not look kindly on widows and re marriage. This is evident in the reaction of all the family bar Vidya and Dhatam. Jigar, Paridi, et all find it insulting that someone can think that way of Gopi despite their neglect of her. And as for that behenji daughter in law! Don't even get me started. Saw her and her behaviour for the first time tonight. The cuss words directed at my tv are not repeatable. 😳

First of all, it would have been proper for Gopi to move on when Ahem had treated her badly & tested her at all times or when she was thrown out of the house after Meera's accident or during Mansi track but that was not to be. Kokila has the fear that if Gopi remarries, she will be left all alone as Jigar, Paridhi, Samar & Monica are feel that Kokila & Gopi has now become a burden on them.

They could have shifted to Urmi's place again. Gopi is living in Ahem's memories & still dreams about him. Maybe, the time he brought the proposal was not right as Gopi has not got over it. That is why Kokila must have reacted that way.

But when Jigar, Paridhi, Samar & Monica are more concerned about their lives & are rude to Kokila, why should it make difference to them about Gopi's remarriage?

And Meera is very irritating. When Mansi was taking Gopi's place, she was fine with it but now she got angry when Krishna wants to take Ahem's place.

What a bunch of hypocrites.😡
