The butchery of this show

Hello, I'm new here. But I've been reading this forum for many years. I've been watching MAM since the very beginning and I'm compelled to write this post.

This started off as a very promising serial. The characters had depth. They were interesting and the plot was great. But now, the writers have really butchered the plot and it's really pi**ed me off 😡 !!!

Riya was introduced as an educated an intelligent woman. She's now a blubbering mess and has no common sense. Shivam is a doormat. Can't think for himself and treats riya like shit. There's no love, warmth or romance.

Preeti deserves a solid slap. Horrible rude brat. She's blaming everyone for their mistakes. Kusiya is an idiot. Vile woman. Does not look at her own daughter's mistakes and is too concerned about vilifying riya. She's a horrible bully.

Shanti and sarla... Where do I even start? Evil always wins. The good people never get a win. It's cringing to watch.

Now, if shivam marries or even entertains the idea of marrying chanda, I'm not watching. I remember how the writers destroyed 'tere sheher mein' by killing the love story and starting a second one. Whatever happened to the true love stories like they used to show in IPKKND???

Wake up writers and star plus otherwise you will lose all of your viewers!!!

Everything you say is totally true imo and you have succinctly wrapped up everything that almost everyone has been hating about this show. I dont think people can stop venting how much they loathe how this program has mutated into such a monstrous plot. No one cares for any of the characters any more; no logic, no common sense, no emotions that you connect with... so yeah lol agree with you!

seriously, so riya is giving up her job for that zoo family? none cares a crap about what she does but she interferes in their family matters...why is she doing this? even a leave for family is baseless as nobody considers her a part of the family...

yesterday they showed shanti throwing water on bunty like she is in her second childhood .riya wrote the resignation letter on the spur of the moment like a child without thinking . lt seems the characters in the serial are underaged and can think only as children.

I'm watching the episodes in the uk, I'm not sure if we a couple days behind India? Firstly, where has Riya's fighting spirit gone? All I've noticed since she's come back into the house is her running around shivam like a puppy dog, her crying, getting blamed for everything and her watching another woman get close to her husband. Tbh, since she's come back into the house, she's just making things worse.

I thought it was horrendous when amma ji threw water on bunty. Who even behaves like that? Why are they letting amma ji treat them like that? They don't owe her anything.

And LOL @ learning how to sing better on the Internet!!! W*F? That's the least of her worries...

Yeah I am too and from others' posts it looks like we are at least an episode behind but I'm not sure if it's everyday? At least we get a preview of what's to come before its aired here 😆 Riyas character- well all of them but we're talking about her- has really gone off the rails. The writers are trying to get us to feel sorry for her and support her in her ridiculous decisions to invade SS and quit her job and turn into this slave/housewife/dobby and I don't think people are feeling it you know? 😆 I FEEL more like slapping her over the head to knock some sense into her
And I totally agree with you, I think her going back and with her wierd personality has made things worse. I said early on that she should have mopped her dignity back up from the floor and walked out ages ago, keep her job, find another yummy guy and f*ck Shivam off. I could understand if she had something to fight for and Shivam wanted her- but I don't know what the hell she expects when her husband keeps looking at her like scum AND meaning it. He absolutely hates her and that's what's making me sick to watch. There isn't even a HINT of compassion from his end, literally nothing she can grasp onto to go through this hell for. It makes her look like a snivelling moron honestly. She irritates me in the show.
I just caught up with the Bunty water bucket epi. Well *EYEROLL* I'm not even shocked honestly, ppl like shanti get away with being beyond vulgar and vile and no one calls them up on it. It's embarrassing for the writers tbh, how they expect viewers to justify things like that to just be swept under the carpet is demeaning. WTH do they think of us? They must think we're retarded or something to swallow this BS. As for the internet singing thing LMAO I read it in another post and nearly spit my coffee out, couldn't believe what I was reading. This idiot Rita, her life is falling apart, her husband can't stand the sight of her and her Dadi-JI nearly got her father imprisoned but oh no, learning to sing better than chanda will make them all love her and fart rainbows. 😆 🤢

As you are new I'd like to invite you to read my fan fiction if you are so inclined 😊 I've been so sick to bloody death of the one dimensional wooden BORING characters and """love""" story in this stupid show that I decided to write my own story based on the characters. Why don't you check it out if you want a bit of romance?
