I just couldn't help it after seeing today's mindblowing episode!! Seriously can we just take a moment to thank and acknowledge the Cvs for their consistency?! I LOVE how EDKV is so true to it's core, it's characters, it's connection to the past, it's parallels, it's whole story, no loop holes, no questions left unanswered, just simply.. perfectā¤ļø I love that there is no rush into romance or getting the leads together for the heck of it. Where almost every other show fails to establish the foundation properly, here EDKV should be saluted for it, truly. I would just like to thank them for their attention to detail and intricacy. May they keep going like thisšš³
I love how Shravan's realization isn't rushed or he just randomly starts loving her again! I love how, like always, Cvs take it in bits and pieces, slowly putting the puzzle together. He's slowly falling for her again, and yet pulling back because he can't let his guard down, he's too afraid to feel that vulnerability, that feeling of your heart being free. Which is exactly how it feels when people are actually in real true love. And why wouldn't he be?! I for one can relate a HELL OF A LOT. When someone is this badly wounded, this deeply scarred that too from not one but two people, it's not easy to recover, and definitely not easy to trust or fall in love again. THISš³ It's clear he wrote this for her. It's like the life he wished to see with her. He truly saw her as a life partner. Why else would he wanna see the affect in her eyes? Why else would he ask her to look into his? It's only when we truly want to say something we mean from the very depths of our hearts. So his love is clearly there, it's just the acceptance that will take a little bit more time. A little hesitation will happen but it will get there. When he will just give in.. his heart will just give in. Oh how I wish this cute dream of his comes true exactly like this one day Like imagine Shraman in a nice cute house of their own, rain outside..ahh, I shall waitšš³ And did you guys see that look in his eyes when he opened Sumo's gift? That look of awe? As if he fell in love right there all over again. We only feel that way when we are truly affected by someone, someone who does something meaningful for us. Of course the gift was actually from his mom, but I loved how for the moment, he saw it coming from herš³
I also love how they showed the flashback! The way he remembered the past. The way that memory from childhood came rushing back at the sound of her scream, the way he pulled away because he can't feel that way again. He can't open himself to that vulnerability, that love again. Just so REAL! Hats off to the team and to Nimik for portraying it so beautifully! And the best part was when he turned back after he pulled away. He didn't abandon her just like that! His one turn clearly showed his concern for her, yet constrained by his fears. He wants to love her, be with her, but his fears, his insecurities pull him away. I so wanted to see this and finally we are getting it. He's finally starting to question.
Till now we were confused as to why the Cvs weren't showing anything from Shravan's POV, why there was that darkness. But I feel it's because for Shravan himself there was a complete void, he was just as blank and numb, the mystery was not just to us, but for him as well. That doesn't mean that he didn't have feelings then, it's just that he didn't see them, he didn't see anything as he had completely blocked off that part of his heart. Now those feelings are resurfacing, now he is starting to notice, to question and that's why now we are starting to see more from his POV as well. This is at least the way I see it. As the Cvs always have a reason for everything, literally everything.
It's like he keeps telling himself "Dil Sambhal Ja Zara, Phir mohabbat karne chala hai tu" These lyrics are so apt for him!
Gosh the layers in this story are unbelievable. Where there are simple predictable love stories where the two go head over heels for each other. Here, there's so many layers, so many emotions. Here the lead is literally falling for the girl all over again.. it's just.. I'm just speechless and truly grateful to be a fan of such a show. Their journey has been so beautiful.. from best friends, to strangers, to friends again and now to lovers again..š³
