Arnav reached office. He parked his car and while leaving the parking area saw Khushi there along with Shyam and Anjali. Khushi was chatting and laughing on some joke cracked by Shyam. Arnav didn't like that for some reason. Mansi was waiting for Arnav to come at the reception as she wanted to discuss something with him. But she was confused to see Arnav walk in the opposite direction.

Arnav went towards Khushi and the other two. Looking at Khushi, he said "Khushi! I want to see you in my cabin right now!"

All three became serious. "Yes Sir!" said Khushi. Arnav left.

"Hope his mood is good!!" wished Khushi, looking as Arnav walked away.

"Go now!!" said Anjali.

"All the best!!" said Shyam.

"Yeah thanks! I need that!" said Khushi as she hurried behind Arnav.

Arnav went to his cabin directly. Khushi followed. As Khushi walked past the reception, Mansi called her...

"Khushi!! Sign!" reminded Mansi.

Khushi quickly signed in the daily register and went to Arnav's cabin. She knocked on the door.

"May I come in Sir?" she asked.

"Come in...!" came the reply.

Khushi went in, a bit nervous.

"You called me, Sir?" she said.

"Uhh... yes... yes..." replied Arnav. He began thinking what to say now 'cause he himself didn't know why he had called Khushi. Just because she was with Shyam?!

Khushi waited for Arnav to speak.

"I... Er... I want the event-report by day after tomorrow..." he managed to say.

"Yes... Sir, you have already told that..." said Khushi, confused.

"Have I?" Arnav pretended not to have remembered that. "Oh okay! That's what I wanted to tell you"

"Okay Sir!" said Khushi and left the cabin.

"He had called me to tell me about the report?!! Again?!" wondered Khushi and she went to her work.

Anup, Nilima and Payal were having lunch. Anup's phone began ringing. He was very happy to see the caller ID.

"Yaar Ajinkya!!" he said gladly, "How are you? Long time!!"

And the call went on for minutes as Nilima and Payal tried to make out what conversation was going on between the two close friends.

Anup was very happy after the call.

"Aaj ka din toh bohot achha hai, aap ke jigri dost se jo aapki baat hui...!!" said Nilima. Today is a good day as you got to talk to your best friend...

"Oh yes, today is a good day indeed!! Ajinkya and Lavanya are coming to Pune next month!!" declared Anup with great pleasure.

"That's great!" said Payal. "Haven't met Lavanya since months!!"

Nilima was glad too.

"And you know what..." said Anup, "woh humaari iss dosti ko rishtedaari mein badalna chahta hai...!!" told Anup with great pleasure. He wishes to transform our friendship into a relationship!!

"Waah! That's a great news...!!" said Nilima gladly. "Lavanya is a very nice girl...!"

Payal was shocked. "You mean... marriage?!"

Anup and Nilima did not understand this reaction from Payal.

"Kya baat hai beta, don't you like Lavanya?" asked Anup.

"Nahi Papa, nothing like that..." said Payal. She didn't know what to say now. "Isn't it too early to think about Arnav's marriage?? Itni jaldi kya hai??" she said.

"Payal, Akash was of the same age as Arnav is when he got married to you..." said Nilima, smiling.

Payal just smiled.

"Please don't let Arnav know anything about this, okay?!!" said Anup. "We all know how he will react if he knows..."

Nilima agreed. Payal had to agree.

"I will have to tell this to Akash as soon as possible...!!" thought Payal.

Two days later, Khushi, with the help of her team-mates, completed the report. Arnav asked her to give the post-event presentation. Khushi had prepared well as usual. Everyone appreciated her and the team. And later, Aman took over the mic to announce something. This was a special announcement. He announced that for her brilliant performance, the company had decided to give Khushi a bonus amount as reward. Everyone applauded. Khushi just couldn't believe it.

Anup handed over the token and the memento to Khushi.

Who would decide all this? Arnav ofcourse!! Khushi glanced at Arnav as she received the award from Anup. Arnav just smiled as he clapped.

Arnav also announced that Khushi was chosen as the event-head for an upcoming event.

Khushi was on cloud nine!! "Is all this a dream?!" she wondered. But it wasn't. She was very happy.

The work on new project soon began. The team was different this time except for Avinash (Avi) and Rutuja (Dolly). Arnav was personally involved in this project as it was an important one.

One day, some of the team members were discussing the project proceedings with Arnav. Khushi was there too. Just then Avi came there. Khushi noticed him coming. He looked at Khushi in the usual romantic way as he walked in. Khushi was signalling him not to say anything stupid. Arnav noticed Khushi confused and turned to see whom she was signalling to. Avi, not at all noticing Arnav, said to Khushi, "Kya haal hai Jaanemann?!!" in his usual style. What's up darling?

Arnav was shocked. Khushi was embarrassed. The others giggled. Arnav was very angry, but jealous more.

"Ahem ahem!!" Arnav cleared his throat on purpose. And then Avi realized that Arnav was there too. He just felt like hiding his face somewhere. Arnav just looked at Khushi and left.

No one had told Arnav anything about Ajinkya and Lavanya. But Akash and Payal couldn't stop thinking of it.

"We need to indirectly find out what Arnav wants..." said Payal, as Akash and she prepared to sleep. Akash once again confirmed whether Riya was asleep.

"Yes... we need to know it for sure whether there is actually something like what we are thinking..." he said.

"But how?!" said Payal.

"We need to figure out a way... And we need to know it before Ajinkya Uncle and Lavanya come to Pune" said Akash.

"Maybe there is nothing like we are thinking..." said Payal.

"Whatever it is... we need to be sure!!"

Next day, Khushi went to Arnav's cabin. Arnav still seemed upset over Avi's statement the day before. Khushi apologized for that...

"Sir, sorry for whatever happened yesterday... I promise it won't happen again..." said Khushi in a low voice.

Arnav just looked away in anger.

Khushi tried to explain... "Sir Avi is used to..." Arnav interrupted her.

"Avi?!! His name is Avinash as far as I know...!!" said Arnav sternly.

Khushi couldn't understand why Arnav had a problem with that.

"But Sir, everyone calls him 'Avi'... Infact he himself insisted me on calling..."

"Whatever!!" Arnav cut in.

Khushi couldn't understand Arnav's behaviour. Infact, Arnav himself was unaware of the reason.

"Anyways, have you brought the details?" he asked.

"Yes Sir!" said Khushi, taking out the file from her satchel.

Both discussed about it for a long time. They realized it was lunch time when Roma came in to keep some register.

Khushi stood up.

"Where are you going?!!" asked Arnav.

"To the canteen to have lunch, Sir" replied Khushi.

"Don't you get your lunch box from home?"

"I do Sir, but I have it with my friends at the canteen..." told Khushi.

"Friends?!"

"Yes Sir... Anjali and Shyam!" said Khushi.

"Shyam?!" thought Arnav.

"Why don't you have your lunch here today? We have a lot more to discuss after that..." said Arnav.

"But Sir..."

"Do you have any problem having lunch here?"

"No Sir..." replied Khushi reluctantly; she was willing to go have lunch with Anjali and Shyam.

After the day ended, Khushi met Anjali and Shyam as usual at the parking.

"Aha!! Lunch with Arnav Sir in his cabin, haan?! Kya baat hai!!" teased Anjali. "Kuchh toh chakkar hai... Right Shyam?!"

Shyam did not say anything. He just smiled.

"Stop it yaar Anjali!! There's nothing like that!!" said Khushi. "He made me wait because we had to discuss of the project..." explained Khushi.

"Okay okay..." said Anjali.

The three then left as Arnav watched them drive away.

Aman was observing Arnav since many days.

"Ye Arnav ko ho kya gaya hai? What is wrong with him?" he wondered.
