whee did I say box office defines stardom ? Exactly box office doesn't define stardom that's why I said SRK's all these blockbusters in overseas doesn't make him the biggest global star. Salman vs SRK is on domestic level, and let their fans deal with it. I'm happy as long as Hrithik delivers , it's really tough to get in the same league of Khans. And please instead of trying to prove SRK is bigger than Cruise or Depp , try and prove he's bigger than Salman, Aamir, AB sr and all other biggies in Bollywood, that's more of a fairer comparison. Lastly if you make a sum total of the box office collections of Tom cruise starrer films, he's right there at the top ten, where Harrison ford has star wars to thank, and RDJ is already a Marvel superhero, and Tom Cruise amongst them has the less number of films too.

Industry salaam u base on your film's friday, like yuvi says "Jab tak balla chal raha hai, thaath hai". Star's real value is measured from his last few films only.

If midget dhawan is getting credit for Dilwale, then AB jr should be manning the 3rd spot. Hell Sushant Singh Rajput should be on the list too.

Question about why Abhishek B, Sushant not considered, is that when you have more than 2 Leads in a film, whichever star has maximum impact carry more weight. That's why they haven't been included. Regarding Varun, he is 2nd lead, i would have considered same for GUNDAY - for both Arjun & Ranveer, as 2 main lead stars are counted in.

Still if ppl want to include them, then they have to include Uday & Sonu Sood also as both were part of D3 & HNY.

Abhishek - 460

Uday - 367

Sonu - 301

It will change the whole list evicting Current Bottom 3 from list & some re-arranging. Above 3 will come above Varun Dhawan & list will go on.

I don't think the above comment is trying to compare SRK w/ Tom Cruise..All he is saying that your highest highs don't define your stardom...What about the lows?

Tom C is big coz of the cumulative business his movies have done over the years..Something taht this forum doesn't understand...

Someone was making fun of SRK's global stardom citing the domestic BO?

His so called Flop DW is still above a lot of so called big hits...

Again...

RS has a few 200+ scores ..& Sehwag has quite a few 300+ something that Sachin can't boast of...

But Sachin is a much greater Batsman than any of these could ever be!

Sehwag would have been bigger batsman from sachin if he would have scored HIGHER RUNS. Sachin's fame was to SCORE THOSE BIG RUNS which other batsman couldn't in their entire career.

Sachin making 100 Centuries (Both Test & ODI), that comes if u add up all centuries from both formats of game.

SRK's Total career's BOX OFFICE Collection isn't bigger despite having Overseas Edge over others. He doesn't have any domestic RECORDS to boast off, Overseas also thr are 3 films ahead of his biggest overseas grosser Dilwale.

Na hi Domestic, Na hi Overseas, Na hi WW, pick single film or even Total collection, they aren't on TOP. Only thing in which he is ahead is having OVERSEAS COLLECTIONS of films total, which he is consistent from 2000 onwards/

Actually nobody is denying SRK's stardom or his legacy, its just at present Salman is considered to be bigger than him, and do not worry, it will keep changing, Bollywood is not anymore about the cinematic pleasure, it is all about 200 crs now, so every body is eyeing that barring a few like Akshay or Ajay.

If domestic comparisons are made, then Aamir is much bigger than both Salman and SRK, so logically its just Khans replacing each other for few more years, and anyways they are legends, so nothing can take away their status from them.
