It came as a shock to everyone when singer Arijit Singh wrote a public apology to Salman Khan. In an open letter on his official Facebook page, Arijit had apologized to Salman for his behavior at an awards show. The 'Dabangg Khan' had apparently interpreted the singer's behavior as an insult. While it has been three years since the event happened, Salman has still not forgiven the star vocalist, which made him pour out his emotions on a public platform.
When we got in touch with Arijit's manager for more details, he told us that Arijit had met Salman a month ago, which made him think that the tiff between the two was over. However, it was on May 24, 2016, when he got to know that the song he had recorded for 'Sultan' with the film's composers Vishal-Shekhar, was not being retained, he realized that Salman was still angry with him. As the 'Tum hi ho' singer mentions in his letter, he tried texting and calling Salman several times but when all efforts went in vain, he finally took to the social media.
On being questioned as to why Arijit deleted the post, his manager said that he was being flooded with thousands of messages from all over, which made him delete the post.

he Tum Hi Ho singer sounded quite perplexed that he's out of Mumbai and can't visit Salman's apartment right away. Here's what he had to say:
"I tried to reach him last night as well but in vain. So I resorted to a social media apology hoping it will reach him. I knew people would misinterpret it and when it instigated arguments, I thought I should remove it. I am not in Mumbai at the moment or I'd have gone to his apartment last night. I am going to do that once I am back. I have hopes that he will be fine with me one day."
