Funny post Maham! I am so glad you penned your thoughts! Neets 🤗 Yeah I was a bit out of it. 😆 I'm not sure why I even made the post for that matter but I'm glad you still liked it :)Feeling like there hasn't been a lot to discuss recently because the story isn't really moving towards anything, mostly Dev's realisation. Word on the bold above 😆 You know I really don't understand how he can be so oblivious to Sona's change in behaviour 😆 He has caught her giving the most weirdest expressions lately and it's like straight over his head 😆 So kacha when it comes to women 😆 Oh I know. He's setting new records in being oblivious. The way Sona acts around him sometimes.. I mean she's about as subtle as a gun. 😆 So much for Sona fearing that Dev will eventually guess on his that she is in love with him... She's clearly safe. Mr. Dixit se kuch nai hone wala. 😆 I have so many expectations and desires with this show, I just really hope the story unfolds in a way where the show really steps away from all the usual Indian drama stuff that's out there. Word to this. I am a bit wary about this new guy. I hope they show it well. I'd rather its someone Asha tries to set up for Sona rather than Sona creating a boyfriend out of thin air. Lets see anyway... I just hope they don't start regressing her character just to make the story move a bit.Quick one on the way Dev is beginning to grow on me, you knowing how much I love Erica like you 😆 There's this innocence I caught once again in today's episode which I don't think any other actor can convey as well as Shaheer does. I've only come to know of Shaheer through KRPKAB, but the way he is portraying this utterly adorable and naive side of Dev through his talks with Ishwari is just so so lovely to watch on screen 😳 There was this one line he said today, 'aur tu bhi toh meri madat nahi kar rahi' which beautifully showed Dev's helplessness and need for some guidance with the help of Ishwari. The boy has to do it on his own like you said 😆 Oh absolutely. I haven't followed any show of Shaheer before this so I'm not a die hard fan and frankly wondered at a few bits here and there if anyone else might have been better at Dev. However, I think it was the scene where Ishwari tries to convince Sona to take the phone and Dev listens to their conversation that convinced me that Shaheer is the perfect choice for the character. You know how most of these business tycoons are eventually shown to have a heart of gold and are all real softies from within? Well most of the time they just look so tough and intimidating that its hard to buy that idea completely. Dev on the other hand, really does look like a child when his inner softness and vulnerability is exposed. I love that side of him so yes I can see why you are loving the same. :) Also, he really just looks like such a normal guy. He isn't unnecessarily cruel or hateful. He just does what he has to do and his toughness is almost entirely due to the circumstances he grew up in. Shaheer makes Dev's untouched innocence and kindness very believable. :)I also love these smiles he gives to Sona. Like dude, wake up and smell the coffee, you have this amazing banter with this girl, explore it! 😆 If there is one thing I wish the CVs bring out in Dev in the upcoming track is this flirty side to him we saw as he sizzled on the dancefloor with Sona. Mayn that has to be hands down, the most flirtatious scene between them. THAT Dev, the one who uses his body language and words to confuse and up the temperature for Sona is hidden away and needs to come out! Oh word word word. I love how he just lights up around her.. Dude needs a whack on the head I tell you 😆 That dance floor scene.. Man... I fell in complete love with it! Well I did make an entire VM based entirely on it so yes obviously I loved it 😆 Its so unusual for Indian TV to show a dance where the chemistry and the heat between the pair is turned up entirely through conversation and subtle looks and not through moves that look like something out of... I don't know Dance India Dance? I find such scenes ludicrous to be honest. 😆 Anyway, I really loved Dev in that scene... So outrageously flirtatious. Shaheer was brilliant 😆 The subtle changes in his tone, the smiles, the body language and just the obvious flirting.. We really need to see that Dev again!Eeek, I loved the Sona-Ishwari scene on Friday too! Two women side by side, perched on a sill of some sort, talking about their love and admiration for Dev, but with Ishwari totally unaware of how Sona feels for Dev 😊 Sona and Ishwari will make a good saas-bahu combo! I loved it to bits too! Word to everything you said!I am looking forward to tomorrow's precap too :) Both Dev and Sona now need to move away from their nok jhok and really spend time with each other and have meaningful conversations to explore whether there is more to the comfort levels they have developed with each other. That's how relationships flourish.
Agree again. :) The scene looked pretty good in the segment I saw, I'm really hoping it lives up to the potential it has :)

Just finished replying on your old thread, because like the CVs, I am a bit slow at the moment 😛
Today's whole episode was really a build up to the precap, a scene I am sure we have all been waiting for with bated breath! What I really want to know from today's episode was how on earth Natasha convinced Neha to go shopping with them. I always feel just a tiny bit shortchanged by Neha's storylines because she gets these amazing, power-packed bits and then we are left hanging until her next, and possibly unrelated bit.I am enjoying the way they are showing Sona in love. When you are that crazy about someone... the smallest thing they do one way or another can send you into a joyful jig or a sorry slump with great speed, and I love that they are showing that side of her while simultaneously showing her efforts to contain herself and retain her professional demeanor. The highlight for me in today's episode was -- and be prepared for a #unpopularopinion -- the kitchen scene in the beginning when Mami going off non-stop on Sona's poor choice of words regarding Neha and Ranvir's relationship. I noticed that Sona's first reaction was to make eye contact with Ishwari and the latter gave her the barely perceptible instruction to let it go, and that is when she did! If Natasha thought the silent communication between Dev and Ishwari was impressive, she should have been there to see this! Thanks to Ishwari's silent approval, Mami's taunts are becoming water off a duck's back for Sona and she is able to say her empty sorries and avoid the conflict that would only upset everyone. In a contest between self-respect and self-preservation, I think the latter is a better route when it comes to Mami!

Sometimes, I feel we'll all be in for a huge surprise and Dev will say he always knew Sona liked him.
I mean, the way Sona was staring at him openly today, how can he not know 🤓, even if he has the emotional range of a teaspoon. She is not hiding anything, is she? 😛

We meet again 😆 Neha yes... her character is like that. Its easy to lose sight of her until her next appearance. I guess its hard for the writers to run every track in parallel. Its rare for a show to even have so many well written supporting characters that aren't just a bunch of caricatures thrown into the story for no reason. I'm guessing Neha will gain prominence again now because it looks like she is going to say yes to Ranveer and Dev is going to disagree with her choice. Lets see how that unfolds.I love Sona in love too. :) Both the writing and Erica's performance need to be credited for that. I love how she goes back and forth so much.. everything from her indecisiveness to the spurts of happiness and sadness she feels has a realistic, endearing edge to it. :)Unpopular opinion 😆 No I can see why you liked it. I like how you can observe the growth in Ishwari and Sona's relationships by just seeing the way both Ishwari and Sona react to the things Mami says to Sona. Initially Ishwari was more defensive of Mami but the grace and respect Sona continuously shows whenever Mami insults her or asks her to do something that isn't part of Sona's job has elevated her so much in Ishwari's eyes. Mami might insist how Natasha is a khandani ladki etc etc but it doesn't have much affect on Ishwari. I love the understanding Sona and Ishwari share now with respect to Mami. Its like they are one team you know? And I honestly don't feel that Sona's self respect takes a hit just because she doesn't answer back to Mami.. It is just about being respectful and also about being sensible. Mami's the kind of person who can make a mountain of a molehill so avoiding any further clashes or drama with her is really just intelligent rather than being weak-spirited. Anyway I have no idea what I wrote here.. Half asleep right now but always great reading you!

Hello again! 😆I know it's difficult to manage so many substantive supporting plots, but I think I always feel bad about Neha's time being cut short because I find her story the most interesting. It's always good to see less of Mami and more of her and Ranveer, but alas, I suppose balance between good and evil has to be maintained. I am actually glad they are bringing back the negative influence of Mami on Neha, which was a very interesting thread they picked up at the very beginning of the show... in the absence of Ishwari's nurture, it makes sense that Neha turned to the only maternalish figure around who paid her attention. It'll be interesting to explore the conflict between the nascent hope and the long-rooted cynicism in Neha and after seeing the OLV, I am hoping upon hope for more development in the Neha-Sona relationship, with Sona standing by the Neha-Ranveer pairing and bringing Dev around. You wrote beautifully, even half asleep! Sona and Ishwari are a team now, and Ishwari actually treats Sona very similarly to the way she treats Dev, with silent communication, gentle humour and a fundamental bond of trust. Natasha is sweet and all but she is yet to show any real mettle in terms of dealing with hard issues... and the Dixits come with a host issues that can be solved with shipping trips or video games. Even today, it was pretty apparent that Ishwari went with the girls more to oblige Natasha than anything else. This is a family who is acutely aware and unwilling to take any risks with money matters, and I wouldn't even be surprised if that is the reason Neha went along as well. I think once an emotional issue comes up, it will be Sona's time to shine and Natasha's time to retreat.
