The nasal crooner left the film in the lurch Mr busy: Himesh Reshammiya Himesh Reshammiya seems to be in an uncharacteristically low-profile mode post those grand announcements about the Karz remake and a tapori love story entitled A Love Ssssstory. Now a couple of his songs have surfaced in Anees Bazmee's Welcome. But what is Himesh doing sharing credits with music directors Sajid-Wajid and Anand Raj Anand in the film? Reminds us of Himesh's pre-stardom days when buddy Salman Khan often teamed him with his other buddies Sajid-Wajid. According to a source, "Himesh left Welcome out in the cold when it came to scoring the music. The film's makers kept urging Himesh to complete the assignment; more so since the composer was working with Anees Bazmee for the first time." Director's cut Bazmee who's currently shooting for Singh Is Kinng in Australia admits that Himesh's pre-occupation with his other projects caused a problem. Says Bazmee, "Both producer Firoz Nadiadwala and I were keen to have Himesh's music in Welcome since it was a big hit in Firozbhai's last comedy Phir Hera Pheri. But somewhere I started to feel that Himesh wasn't giving Welcome the time it deserved. I couldn't wait for Himesh. Fortunately the producer was with me on this decision, and we approached other talented composers to complete the score." Says Himesh, "I had done some music for Welcome 15 months ago. Then I opted out because after Aap Ka Surroor, I decided to stop giving music outside my own films." But he insists there's no bitterness. "Firozbhai, Anees Bazmee, and the two other music directors in the film are friends of mine. We're absolutely fine." But the truth is that Himesh's exclusivity has irked a lot of people. Says a source close to Himesh, "At this point in his career Himesh isn't bothered with building his good-guy image. He has to prove that his acting debut was not a fluke, at any cost." He begins shooting for Karz in January.

yes,that is such a welcome relief.....Now my poor ears will get some rest.......Nowadays I don't even tune in to FM coz I'm afraid I'll hear his death wail..... oooooooo 😆

Dada you are right indeed that is good news.

Considering how pathetic his songs in the album are, the producers wouldn't be displeased with his exit.

actually himesh is a good MD...but his singin makes all the songs sound horrible...infact music directin is the only thin hes good at..
