It might be Roshni who is put behind bars because of Sid's situation. Simran already hates her to no return. So she might blame Roshni for Sid's situation. To a point Roshni is to be blamed but Roshni being behind bars might create more tension between Mother and Son. Because Sid will break all relation with Simran at that point.

A the same time Roshni might put Sid behind bars. To some it seems very wrong of her to do, but I am thinking it might be to protect him. Sid has gone psycho over Roshni. To the point he is able to bring harm to himself. Roshni does love Sid and won't bear losing him to death. Also in her POV Sid being behind bars will also keep others happy. Sid won't be able to harm himself nor go after her crazily.

Both situations will bring out more drama and emotional scenes. I know I am so looking forward to the episodes. So much is coming in the episodes..

You're right both situations work but the latter seems more probable at this point. Although it would be a solid twist if it was Roshni who was put behind bars instead.
