I have been defending Raman's behavior since the leap. But like we have been complaining ...there is a limit to everything. In trying to make things intense, things don't need to be crass.
Will it kill the creatives if they give a bit of an inkling about Raman's vitriolic temper tantrum these days...a little insight into his regret for the venom he spewed 7 years back..the feeling of betrayal on discovering Ishita chose to stay away from him and their kids when they probably needed her the most...his rage at seeing her apparent 'content' life with Mani and Aliya, and the probably biggest being her apparent nonchalance to any of his taunts when he himself is hurting so badly?
We got a glimpse of Ishita's predicament yesterday. About time the other protagonist gets a similar introspection scene as, right as of now, Raman is coming across more as an acrid antagonist rather than a conflicted, frustrated, tortured protagonist out for revenge for burning in daily hell for past 7 years.
Everything needs a boundary, constant verbal abuse is abuse too. It doesn't fit into Raman's character sketch.
I still believe in the character, maybe the CVs need to pay attention to their male protagonist too.
Note: Anyone who is happy with how the show is going, I respect your choice...please don't reprimand me for mine.
