It has been a practise for long. U can't expect them to change rules for 1 actor. Earlier Mohit Malik etc left DAK to participate in JDJ and Zee refused Ravi , Urmi of DAK too to participate in JDJ. If Zee now allows some actors now, it would be unfair to these actors. Moreover from next year all there popular faces will be earning TRPs for other channels😆 So, a channel won't allow it in a this competitive environment.
If Sid is leaving because of less screen space, it would have been better if he says that upfront and leave. These issues can be resolved by talking with PH too. Even in Jamai raja Nia, who had so much screenspace in her earlier show is sidelined sometimes but she never left the show. Same is the case with Shabbir of KKB, where is invisible most of the time, with villian and heroine eating more than half of the screen space. So, less screen space for 1 actor is a problem in most of the shows, but I'll quote Iqbal Khans recent statement that SHOW IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN AN ACTOR. But not all can think like that, so its fine.
I'm just saying if he did JDJ next year or after TEI ending, he could have had a consolidated fan base which is divided now. The show is at loss, like wise he is also at loss. There is no point in blaming dissappointed fans saying no one forced us to watch.. When u invest time for a show, there is always an expectation that the actors will stay till the story reaches a logical conclusion, when that dream is broken because of an actors search for self intrest, blame is bound to happen.
Anyways, there is no point in blame and counter blames.. wish Sid all the best for his big project and let TEI also run successfully. The lesson for viewers is to never get attached to a jodi, anyone can ditch and spoil it anytime..
