IKRS Friday 20th May 2016 ep 253 My Take ~ burning the midnight oil..
Day and night, burnt to a crisp, are people in AN who untiringly .. are consumed with hate and envy at an ex-widow's stars.. her;fate ; her destiny; the way the deities favour her.. but then burn and burn they do.. as who can guide the gods? their grace falls upon those whose light of worships burns forth through their lives...true devotion, true love..in word and deed..
The anonymous woman caller rings Dhani yet again , she hopes after finding evidence at Asthana's home Dhani has sufficient faith in her? That she has other things to disclose to her as well. But Dhani , loses her rag with the woman ,especially since Viplav pointed out her weakness of gullibility hence Dhani insists on knowing the identity of the woman questions her reason of repeatedly calling her and keeping her identity undisclosed. The woman agrees to meet Dhani , to put her mind at rest and to find out that a huge conspiracy is being spun in her house.The woman gives a venue for the meeting point and goes so far as to describe the colour of a red sari for Dhani to ear mark herself. Yet again Dhani recalls, Viplav reckons she gets taken in easily so once again she insists on knowing the woman's name, and why her sudden interest in her.The woman simply reiterates its in Dhani's interest ,leaves the ball in Dhani's court. It sure is, Viplav too wants evidence about the claim she makes against dada ji! Dhani decide ,but likewise ,this time concludes, best pass it by Viplav ,to blot out his protest, that she does things according to her own whims. Untimely collision she has with Kamini at the bottom of the stairs! Dhani's phone crashes to the floor out of her hand, which Kamini gets hold of! she has feelers out for Dhani twenty four seven, wants to know why the rush? truthful as she is, yet undiscerning in terms of spotting the enemy around her, Dhani spews all the appropriate information before Kamini , the anonymous woman wants to meet her , regards dada ji. Kamini obviously being the mole wants to know, except Viplav comes and Dhani runs to brief him .kamini glances at Dhani's phone in her hand , she checks the last in coming number, and with the press of her thumb she erases the number conveniently. Viplav asks pertinent questions, did Dhani ask the woman's name? Which she didn't of course. Viplav wants to see the last calling number ,which Kamini the vixen deleted already! Her motive at all times is to magnify however tiny , Dhani's in competencies when compared to her, So what Viplav dials is a sales call, calmly he tells her so. But Dhani in a stride by passes these and harps on the fact ,the woman invited her to the ghat! That he should come with her too! Viplav brushes it off lightly, no knowledge of name number, might be a crank call but Dhani argues like a wife ,but he wants proof doesn't ? Come with her! Get there and ask all these for himself she claims , Viplav stares at her, she is his wife and consents reluctantly he'll come just to see who it is, that' bothering her , much to Kamini's heartburn. Kamini the silent, yet ever present lurking danger forces herself upon them and offers to be of some use, black mails them into taking her too. But she phones someone, reports recent development at the side of her camp.
The venue reached , Dhani splits from Viplav and Kamini to find the woman in the red sari. While Viplav walks lazily through the area with his hands in his pocket, he is no hurry to discover evidence that incriminates his dad ji as a thief. Dhani on the other hand runs briskly, is desperate to find proof to prove her point. No one in sight! Looks around Dhani dismally.
Behind her the woman with the red sari with half hidden face, closes in the distance between herself and Dhani, as the bond between them leaps in the heart of the woman in red! Then right behind Dhani the figure pauses but resists not the desire to feel the presence before her. Dhani feels the touch,it startles her not, but gives her a sense of strange foreboding..dhani turns, stares at the partly revealed face, the very eyes, the nose.. Slowly the stranger moves the pallu and then ,Dhani beholds the face, it is no stranger but Suvarna! Both stare at each other its been sooo long and then a warm hug followed by a barge of questions from both, Suvarna ,where was she all this time? She ok? How she looked for her everywhere! cries Dhani but Suvarna complains and the two friends have a friendly moan at each other she need to tell her how come she didn't recognise her voice , why didn't she say its Suvarna ! To which Dhani says much surprised , so that woman on the phone was her!Dhani admits how could she? She didn't mention her name, its been ages since they last met! But tell hr what else she knows! Pleads Dhani, and Suvarna explains ,she'd better listen careful to what she has to say! But Dhani insists , wait its Viplav who needs to hear her out ,wait right here while she gets him! Suvarna , pleads , no wait listen to her! But Dhani dashes off ,after requesting her friend to wait right there she'll be back! Seems fate wills it that Dhani let's crucial information wait upon her!..
In a rush Dhani finds Viplav strolls in the wilderness, she has news for him!She's found the anonymous woman ,its none other than Suvarna , Viplav is shocked, what?? She drags him and confidently says, now she'll tell him everything.. Only when they get to the spot Suvarna is nowhere to be seen!She'd gone, Dhani chatters ,she was here a short while right here! By now Viplav too begins to doubt Dhani's togetherness ! Is she sure if the woman was really Suvarna? Dhani replies it was, Viplav argues, if she had something important to say , why would she just levae! Dhani looks around and calls out in urgency Suvarna! Kamini seizes the moment to raise the issue of Dhani lost the plot! Shows conniving care concern for Dhani to impress Viplav or may be to agree with viplav too, showing too that perhaps Dhani losing her mind! Dhani insists stay she' around he has to believe her she is here! Viplav replies ,yes he believes her and believes too that Suvarna wouldn't lie to her but the fact is she's not here ,so pointless waiting for here over here.. At least Viplav doesn't take Dhani to task! rather is being sensitive..but Dhani is determined to find out information from Suvarna and asks Viplav if she can visit Suvarna s home? Viplv agrees, but suddenly this plan is foiled as Viplav gets a phone from dadi, she wants them home to plan Shumbu's death anniversary..Viplav like a husband negotiates with his wife, go to Suvarna another time as for now, he holds his palm out to her, shall we go home now? Dhani goes ,hummm..viplav's extended palm remains a symbol of his loving acceptance of Dhani . Kamini, looks on with resentment, as Dhani places her palm in his, and they walk past a Kamini,who sizzles in a self created hell! To covet's another woman's spouse.
Yes for sure it's the wife basher Tripurari himself! Man handles Suvarna again, don't try to be smart he bellows down her face ,twists her arm..he knows she went to see Dhani!He hated that always, as he hates Dhani to this day ,forbids his wife against meeting Dhani! Forget that friend of hers, who never bothered about her all this time!!where she's been?dead or alive! here she is going out to help her . Tripurari accuses her, Suvarna begs Dhani doesn't know anything!If she knew she would look out more for her than him he bellows ,she'd better watch it she doesn't squeal about him to Dhani especially the liaison he has with Phool Chand!ther wise he'll sort her out well and proper that she'll be of no use! get lost now he hurls her to one side! Suvarna after all this time,still remains Tripurari abused wife ,a victim who made an informed choice..
Bogged down with mental baggage. Dhani in the main is all there in the kitchen preparing for a meal, but mentally preoccupied with what exactly did Suvarna have to say more about Asthana? Kanak comes in, the sight of Dhani burns her insides! Has done so from the day this Dhani stepped into her son's life! slowly, but existing, Dhani is an eternal burning that smoulders in her. Ablaze with anger, kanak points out to daydreaming dhani the oil on the hob burns! put something in on the double! Her orders, shatter Dhani's nerves, clear thinking exits from her mind. next minute Dhani, finds herself picking the glass of cold water on the worktop and pours it in the hot oil! Hot oil jumps out! finds kanaks face, and burns scalds it rightaway! Kanak screams as she gets burnt by the scalding oil! It is a dangerous scorching act on Dhani's part! Family singes her with dangerous absence of mind! with intent to harm Kanak, each Dhani hater adds hot oil to the situation,to burn Dhani's image and her value further in the house. Viplav too doubts her intent as accidental! Victory for Kamini and Bua as Dhani is seen as the arsonist of the household! While Kamini the one who puts out the fire! Bua sits alight Viplav and Dhani's bond by going through Dhani's Viplav is helpless yet again on her account, has to be seen to dish out justice, decrees to appease the protesting family , till Dhani is stress free mentally , would be sensible if she keeps away from the kitchen! The hot oil symbolizes the combustible atmospherein AN, eversince Bua and Kamini arrive. The cold jug of water stands for Dhani's goodness, which distorts badly whenever she attempts to set right inflammable situations in the house, she is seen losing her insanity and all her back dated mistakes are stroked, by the burning fire o Kanak,Bua , Kamini! Hence the hob is not turned off the hot oil will continue to bubble in AN and regardless who comes under its range.. goodness will seen to burn.. but then so does the diva that lights up lord shiva's powerful presence the lord knows which fire shows worship and which burns to destroy!
Viplav commit the folly of being unable to identify that Kamini is in actual fact hot oil.. confiding his thoughts in her, regards Dhani's recent reactions, is like douching the hot oil with cold water! that which will scald Dhani and his marriage! Kamini will use what ever they say to her in confidence , as a lever to separate them.kamini once again tries to smooth Viplav's ruffled feathers and calms him, Dhani made a mistake.Kamini wants more of him physically ,a feel?but he wants his beloved! Kamini.. misses her brief moment of lust, when Viplav thinks aloud about his wife.. its a case of nerves with Dhani!
After all he loves her and she loves him..back to his love nest..dhani knows not what to say about this latest blunder she has done.. I .. shhh.. Viplav goes.. gimme a hug he too needs one.. he too fights for her .. he's on her side. A bear hug, calms both and reinforces, that which god joins let none put asunder.. Look.. love ignore what he says, got an idea,thing is there's a lot going on home at the moment ,all are tense.. and all focus on..[he means on her as a scapegoat] hence how about taking a break from home for a few days.? When things settle down a bit and we'll return. Dhani cant believe her ears! She hugs and like a frightened rabbit admits , since the past few days she is scared that.. and he completes her sentence with a passing smile , that there is a rift happening in our relationship..huummm? hey! trust nothing of the sort is likely to happen.. and another thing , when we take time off, no talk about home will happen ! he seals it with a kiss of faithful love, he strokes her face lovingly...is this a too much complacency on Viplav's part?
Kamini so too speak prepares ointment for burns preventing blisters.. but inside she will use every thing at hand to cause burning blisters in Dhani and Viplav's relationship.bua encourages her to build upon the existing misunderstandings happening due to Dhani's serious shortfalls! For eventually these very misunderstandings will create the much needed fissure in their marriage! Kamini though is put off .. because no matter how grave and serious Dhani's mistakes are Viplav manages to cover it up..in his eyes there is only and only love for Dhani!the more we try to separate them.. the more closer they come to be!bau pulls out a sari riddled with termites. Moans the sari is a right off! then suggests to Kamini her ploy should be to plant doubt in Viplav's mind against Dhani... that sure will act as the final yank to split them apart. Doubt breaks relationship.. such irony.. in the scene before Viplav talks about trust... here the antidote is being prepared the hot oil in Viplav's household
No surprise,Kamini latches on to Tripurari phones to find out who the person was who informed Dhani?laid back he replies he's trying to find out..dhani interrupts wants to know who she was speaking to? as if the vixen would tell her.. Dhani tells her Viplav and her are going out for a meal... why dosent she come too.. kamimi acts the nice non interfering friend who doesn't want to be three's a crowd.. naive Dhani thinks of a close friend of both her and Viplav. Why should Kamini worry about being close to Viplav when his wife gives her the open signal to come get him! on Dhani's behest Kamini tags along
Back into Tripurari's home.. he the same bully.. uncouth,ill mannered cold when it comes to work.. he warns his one weakness his mother Durga along with his wife ,not to interfere with his work this time! Durga is the same can tell when someone instigates her son ,he turns rude to her..he says no one can instigate him ,he had left benaras to make his own life, she's the one who called him back! using her maternal instincts.. and what does he see on his return..the family she considers her own never even bothered to looked back at her! apart fronm disrespect got nothing from them!he yells wants to know when his mother will take off her blinkers! remember she went to Dashrant for money as her right .. and spurned her aside like a way side beggar!she my forget but he will never forget the insult.. he may be his father ,but never acted like one or took responsiblity ! !!!!!she'll see he'll deal with him, now he will beg for mercy for her.. that Dashrant tirpathi! rumbles Tripurari .. what goes around comes around..
