This write up is based on last week's episodes right from Romi and Mihika's shaadi. cv's are once again rehashing YHM 1.0 by playing with the basic human emotions... with selfishness taking the larger piece... Right from Ishita and Raman till the characters around them, all of them are guided by their selfish motives. While all these characters are buzzing around my head, i am just penning down my thoughts on these characters.First comes Adi... Once a weak link between Ishita and Raman is now ready to go to any extent to see them back together. Same kid who despised Ishita aunty for his Shagun mumma is now against Shagun mumma to let his mumma and papa get their love back in their life. This kid can see the love in his parents eyes which is invisible to others around them. This kid who never knew how to acknowledge his father's love at one point of time is now ready to take his father's hate and anger for his Mumma and to get her back her rights. Loving Ishima's Adi bacha...
Next comes Ruhi... The only connect between Ishra at one point of time is now trying her best to break the bandhan that is dangling in mid air due to misunderstandings. She has taken after her papa. She is complex like her papa. While she wants her happy family back with mumma and papa, the deceit is stopping her. While she couldn't see her Ishima or Papa with another third person, her anger is blinding her eyes. She is jealous of her little sister who is now getting all love from her father...the same love and affection that she couldn't get at that age but she doesn't hate her sister. Ruhi is basically inside a quagmire. Since she is not able to come out, she is trying to pull others in. But, she is going to bring her parents together... The actor is doing a great job.
Mihika...A powerful character which was wasted is now getting some attention. Her conversation with Mihir is giving little insight into her character. Like Raman and Ishita, Mihir and Mihika were separated by their fate. They became prey to the feud between families. Mihika who once lost her love because of Ashok is still hopelessly trying to find love in her life. Her marriage to Romi Bhalla was Mihika's another try to get a man who will love her back...
Romi's character has not written well post leap. While he wants his bhaiya and bhabhi back together, his intentions and animosity towards Raman Bhalla are still unexplained. Raman has treated him worser than this in his life. While i can see that he is trying to love Mihika, only time can tell us if he will be successful in this attempt while balancing his hate for his brother.
Here comes Mani and Aliya...Being a fan of Raman and Ishita, it is definitely difficult to like this pair, but if we look at it practically, their so called paradise is collapsing because of some Mr.Raman Bhalla. While Aliya doesn't know about the depth of love between Ishra, Mani has become selfish in this span of 7 years. It is to be seen if cv's keep them grey or black in the future.
Shagun and her white paint always had hopeless mohabbatein. When cv's tried to paint her more, she became more unconvincing. While she is trying to fit into the abla naari character who waited 7 years for her rights which was never hers, she is giving me a good laugh. Seems her white paint is going to peel off completely after her unsuccessful marriage attempt with her present love Raman, who was once before Ashok and now, after Ashok... On a serious note, her so called mamta is also not able to move me.
While Iyers have their own reason to be mad at Bhallas like separating Pihu and what not, Vanditha disappoints as a sister who knows how much her sister loves her husband. Bala is back to the camp as a sensible jeeju.
Toshi's character has been written well. While she was always unstable, after leap, I liked her. She wanted Shagun back in Raman's life just as a mother who couldn't see her son drowning in his loneliness. Had she got a inkling that Ishita was alive, she would have never tried doing what she did. Shagun was her last ray of hope since she knew her son a little more. Since her Ishita is back, she now wants her son to have his love back in his life.
Raman is a hurt soul who is doing whatever he is doing out of anger. Though his Ishita is alive before his eyes, his theory that she staged a suicide drama is making him go mad at her. When he wanted her the most in his life, she went missing which is infuriating him. This is the Raman we knew from day one. I am happy that Ruhi is not the reason for his hate or love or anger now. His love for his Ishita is the reason for his actions. Let us see how they take the story from here.
I am not able to comment on Ishita since i never understood her intentions or character. Now, she doesn't want to get back to Raman's life. I don't know why is it so. Had cv's shown that this is so due to those harsh words of Raman, i think it would have been better. From what i saw, there was never a proper reasoning for her doings. She wanted to run and Adi stopped her. Now, she wants to mend relationship between Bhallas and Iyers. I am seriously at loss of words when it comes to Ishita. What is the need of mending relationships when their link ,i.e., Ishita herself doesn't want a place there. Hope i understand her some day.
As Ishra, loving their nok jhoks and their irresistible chemistry... Hoping to see more of them...
