She woke up a bit late in the next morning and went down. Arnav was busy in his phone, speaking with Aman, his almost girlfriend!!! This person was a lucky man to have two wives and a girlfriend too. Khushi smiled sarcastically. He passed by her even without looking at her. Ignorance again!!!!
Feels like nobody remembers that there is a person called Khushi in this house.
Why didn't Sanchi get the same kind of ignorance?

A month passed after his marriage took place. To be clear, second marriage. But Khushi's sorrow never came to an end. He ignored her for a whole month. She didn't try to pacify him. Why is he punishing me?
She saw Sanchi heading towards Arnav.
Sanchi: Mamaji ne kal dopehar khaane pe bulaya hai.(Mamaji has invited for lunch today)
Sanchi was referring to her mother's brother, Suresh Mamaji.
Khushi remembered how Arnavji had come to Buaji's house in the beginning of their marriage.
Arnav quickly dialed Aman.
Arnav: Cancel all my meetings tomorrow Aman.
Khushi's eyes popped out. He agreed so easily? He even cancelled all his meetings!!! This never happened before. Khushi could not stay there anymore. She quickly ran to her room.

She hugged her knee. She was upset, very upset by his ignorance.
Maybe he is falling for her.
Her body shivered for a while. He is falling for her!! She didn't realize the tear droplet rolling on her cheek.
So he will never come back to me?
In one month Sanchi took my Arnavji away from me?
She shut her eyes when she remembered the past.
Flashback
In Arshi room,
Arnav was not there in his room and Anjali was waiting for this opportunity. She saw Khushi sitting alone on the bed and thinking deeply.
Anjali: Khushiji
Khushi turned to look at her. She didn't smile at Anjali.
What does she want now, after insulting me yesterday? Maybe she wants me to agree for his second marriage.
Anjali: Khushiji chotte doesn't understand but atleast you try to understand!!
Khushi: No Di, how can you think of remarriage of ARnavji?
Anjali: Khushiji listen to me once. Till when will you be childless?
Khushi: Stop it Di!! Why are pointing this each and every time?
Anjali: Khushiji I know you cant accept this but do you want to snatch Chotte's happiness? He too might want a child and if you cant then why shouldn't he remarry?
Khushi: And why should he? Why cant we adopt?
Anjali: KHUSHIJI!!! Adoption is far different than having an own child.
Aapko Chotte ki kasam!! Aap unki doosri shaadi karvayenge.
Khushi could not believe her ears. Chotte ki kasam!! A tear droplet flowed from her eyes.
How could she be so mean?
Khushi: You are very stubborn DI. I will never forgive you for this.

Arnav: What nonsense are you speaking Khushi? Me and second marriage? Are you insane?
Khushi: Try to understand.
Arnav: Understand what?
He cupped her face.
Arnav: Khushi please do not take Di's words seriously. I know she had insulted you a lot yesterday, but don't take it to heart. Just because of that I wont marry again.
Khushi(Thinking): But what she did today was even more cheap!! I am sorry Arnavji. But you need to agree.
Khushi: Ok then if you don't agree I wont eat anything.
Arnav was shocked. His wife and Di both were stubborn. One says she will drink poison and other says she will not have food!!

He could not see her like this. Three days, she left the food untouched. Her condition was worsening. She was turned weak and pale. She lost 3kgs in 3 days. The family members tried to make her understand but she dint care.
Arnav(gritting his teeth): Itni zidd kyun Khushi? Khaana khao!!
Khushi(weakly): No..Not until you agree for the marriage.
She was about to faint. He could not see her struggling like this. If she would continue then she could even die. ARnav was helpless. He couldn't see her like this. She was his strength as well as weakness.
Why Khushi?
He gulped his throat.
Arnav(unhappily): Ok!! I agree. Atleast now eat your food.

Flashback ends.
That time you were helpless Arnavji..but now I think you don't want me anymore in your life.
It usually happens that the first wife always leads a sad life. Even in the epic stories. Maybe I am a burden for him now!!!
She shut her eyes in pain.
Today morning she and Nk had been for a walk and the neighbours had insulted her. What is my fault if I can't bear a child?
She fiddled on the bed getting too upset. Why did all these happen?
She felt her ears ringing the same words which her neighbours said.
"I heard that her husband married again"
"Poor girl!! Maybe he was tired of her" the other made fun of Khushi.
"No no, his sister forced him. After all his first wife could not bear him a child"
"So she is infertile?" questioned another.
Khushi was shattered when she heard "Infertile". Is this what the world thinks of her now. Her whole life was like a game now. Khushi could not continue there once more. She hid her sorrow. She felt insulted.
She rolled on the bed. "Maybe this is written on my fate".
" Sab kho diya humne. Apne atma samman, apne pati, aur apna izzat. Aur iske zimmedar aap hai di"(I lost everything, my dignity, my husband and my respect. And you are responsible for all this Di")
She murmured to herself, crying on the bed. Her mood was really upset. The word infertile surely made her heart break. She wished Arnav was here, beside her to calm her.
Is that my fault?
The lights went off. Seems like electricity is gone. What happened to the inverter? She slowly bought the candle to her room and kept it in one corner. She didn't feel like sleeping.
I need some peace or my head would blast.
Holding the bottle of sleeping pills and a photo she went towards the wardrobe and opened it.
This is where I can think peacefully!!!
She took the photo and clutched it to her chest hugging it and went inside the wardrobe. She took two pills to forget her sadness and closed the wardrobe door.

Next morning,
Payal: Khushi is not there anywhere. Where did she go?
Everyone got worried.
Mami: I saw in the kitchen too. She is not there.
Nk: Don't worry Maasiji. We will find her.
Payal: Don't know where she is.
Payal was on the verge of crying.
Nani: Calm down Bitiya. You should not be sad in this condition.
Payal: When there is so much happening in this house how can I not be sad?
Nani pitied her.
Arnav who just came down was worried.
Arnav: What happened?
Mami: Phati saree, is missing.
Arnav was shocked for a while. Where could she go?
Arnav started panicking. He searched for her in the whole house. But she wasn't there. He opened her room's door.
Why do I feel that she is here?
All the family members went to her room. He had a doubt but when he opened the wardbrobe's door his doubt was confirmed. She was there, sleeping.
For a minute his heart stopped beating. He felt very bad when he saw her like this, inside the wardrobe. Payal started crying. Her sister wasn't like this before.
He took the photo from her hand and found it to be his. He just looked at her. But he failed to see the bottle fallen inside the wardrobe.
She loves him so much. He gulped his throat and carried her to the bed.
Today he realized, she was hurt, very hurt. He kissed her hand sadly.
Arnav: Isse thoda sa bhukaar hai. (She has little fever)
