ipkknd plot question

Okay so i watched this show a while ago when it aired. Now I'm just randomly watching episodes on hotstar so I dont remember all the details and I'm skipping around so I'm not following properly. I have few questions. How old are arnav and khushi officially? And If garima was having an affair with arnavs dad (or was being fooled by him) when arnav was 14 then how is payal, who is garima and shashis daughter, only a few years younger than arnav. how does that make sense? or am i missing something? Someone please answer cause this is really gonna bug me until i understand.

About age...during initial episodes

Arnav 26(nani introduced Arnav as her 26 yr old grandson..to some people who came to RM for marriage..ofcourse ASR scared them of 😉 )

Khushi 18(buaji talked to some guest during 1st episode.that Khushi entered their family 10yr ago..after her parents death..)

But then later contract marriage happen...on their contract paper..

Khushi 22..going to be 23 😆 ..

Uff.. ..
So many loopholes
Payal is from shashi's first marriage...

Garima was childless...
