Gopi is getting remarries at the age of 50. So the Grand children of Gopi will have lucky chance of witnessing their grandma's grand gala wedding. Hope this time Gopi has a son .

but Gopi is sanskari as you know
she will never consummate with her 2nd hubby after Ahem's death

The article says he is a divorcee. So he might have a son from his previous marriage.

But really is there any need to get remarried.

Cant she stay like a widow.

Does a woman always need to have a male companion.

And definitely in case of Gopi it would be very inappropriate if she is shown as remarried even at the behest of her MIL or other family members.

Gopi is shown as loving and adoring Ahem almost revering him. For such a character it is more appropriate if she choses to spend the rest of her life with his memories rather than remarrying.
