Great points raised rare angel. Everyone is ready to jump on that bandwagon of tagging the thakur family unit as evil. But its not as simple as that. They are loyal and respect their mother to a fault; they have their own valid motives which look irrational from a normal persons view but the fact is that they have been programmed by their mother to villify and objectify women. Ananya's arrival may prompt them to rethink this, though this will probably take time.

For me the most despicable being is Mayank- he is supposed to be her brother yet is ready to sell her out for money.

I don't know how he can do that to his sister and woh bhi such a sweet one at that 😡

Thank you so much for this post. Completely agree with each and every point. No doubt what the boys are doing is wrong but if everyone believes that shakti will realize his love for anu and take a stand for her then other boys should also be given chance before terming them complete evil. It's not easy to think against what you have been taught since birth and that too for a girl you hardly know.

Well, I agree with you that it's a very deep-rooted prejudice that will take a long time to weed out. I do see the Thakur boys as products of their circumstances, but I also believe that human beings have the ability to overcome those circumstances.

Yes, they have been brainwashed by Bindiya but they have their own brains too.Surely, they know what they're doing to Ananya is wrong, yet they choose to go ahead with it. I'm very glad that Begusarai is portraying characters like them, who are multifaceted. I wanna see how these boys come around and quite frankly, they need a dose of their own medicine.

I totally agree! Sometimes we all need a big slap across our faces to realise what we r doing is wrong and I guess that slap will come in the form of Ananya for the boys 😆 . 😉
