Ishita was never given an opportunity to speak, she was shut out immediately.

When amma lost her daughter ishu(supposedly) she had her husband to console her over her daughter's death.
But with ishu, upon ruhi's death, her husband was not there to console her.Instead he blamed her and wanted her out of his life.So amma would have been at a better position to handle ishu's passing away.
We have not been shown ishu being heard for her explanation about this matter.
I'll rather trust my mom who has known me for 30 odd years than a woman I've come to know for 2 1/2 years.I'm not saying that ishu does not deserve that slap. But she needs a hearing along with that.Even if it is not justifiable, she does deserve a chance for being amma's daughter.
And I have seen both types of reaction amongst my relatives.

I totally agree with your point of view , and I am sure there are more scenes to be seen ... I am sure any mother would be happy to see their child coming back from dead , but don't forget that Ishu choose to stay away from her mother , not like Ruhi who was MADE to stay from her parents. Anyways it's a debate where both would have extremely valid points and do agree with your point of view , absolutely , but my view is that Amma is not wrong to be angry with her . And Amma has got her reasons just as Ishita has her reasons . I am sure they will talk ( depending on CV) but at the same time I know that CV's don't have good track record of showing any heart to heart .

I think it all started with the surrogacy and this was just waiting to happen!

Thanks TM..
