KKB CVs aren't the best. We all know that judging by how they drag to their detriment.
But they're not stupid either. Time and time again, they have shown some wonderfully symbolic scenes and these type of scenes are the ones I truly appreciate and applaud. 👏
Was yesterday's 'kiss scene', where Abhi kisses Pragya and wants to kiss her again, alluding to something?
It was cute and fun to watch Abhigya being kiddish but one dialogue by Abhi struck me as quite interesting. He said something (not exactly) like this:
"When a person gets hurt and something wrong happens to them, if you repeat the act that hurt them, they may get better. I should give you another kiss so you remember the lines..."
He was of course referring to that age old 'cure' to amnesia that they show extensively in Bollywood and Hindi serials where someone gets amnesia by hitting their head, and then regains their memory again in the distant future after much drama after hitting their head again.
So, what's so interesting about that?
This whole LM track started with Pragya's accident. History is going to repeat itself and now she's going to have another accident of the same kind.
So replace some elements of that kiss scene with a few factors and you can see some parallels:
Instead of 2 kisses, replace it with 2 accidents.
Instead of Abhi trying to kiss her, replace him with Takhil who are trying to get her into an accident.
Instead of Pragya forgetting the lines of the song, replace it with her forgetting/ being slow in exposing the truth to Abhi.
What if this scene is setting up Pragya to finally wake up and actually expose the truth to Abhi- maybe even remember that Abhi loves and trusts her and just telling him the truth is enough as it is- no formal proving needed. Maybe make her forget Dadi's stupid manipulations.
Another 'theory' I want to present is that this scene may be suggesting Pragya will lose her memory after this second accident, especially since Abhi said the dialogue:
"Are you Ghajini who keeps having short term memory loss?" (Ghajini is a character played by Aamir Khan in the movie Ghajini where he too develops a condition where he has short term memory loss after being hit on the head).
I may be just over analysing the scene but I thought it was quite interesting due to the choice of dialogues. Also, with the abundances of kissing (which I have no problem with 😆), I thought the writers were using them for a more purposeful cause rather than just to pacify Abhigya fans. 😆
