Today's episode was entertaining, exciting, showed a transition between twinkle-kunj's intimate relationship and has started tying up the loose ends of the track overall.
The episode started out with Anita assuring her friends that 'her bahu' loves her son back and that they are very much in-sync. The scene signified how important it is for Luthras to prove themselves as the best and the winners in every battle. The world is a witness to Yuvraj deceiving Twinkle who was already married and the perception matters much more now then it ever did before as the attack from behind has bled it's way to the front.
Twinkle overhears from the top level of the house while wearing a green and blue dress. Green signifies life and prosperity where as Blue signifies emotional depth and stability. A defining factor in both Kunj and Twinkle's personalities and there relationship as well. Her position on top signifies her being the one in control throughout this track and her being the victor. Twinkle's means are the righteous means and not the ones bended which the Luthras' have. Luthras' have no boundaries and that is deficiently something to be scared however Twinkle has truth, honesty and innocence on her side and the good of those three elements always prevail over the negative and bad no matter how long a fight goes on.
Yuvraj is dressed in gold sherwani, signifying his taste in luxurious and glamorous lifestyle however Anit is the one to bring the yellow sherwani to him. > The episode highlighted constantly how Twinkle has been brought into Yuvraj's life by Anita. It was her brilliant plan to get back at Tanejas by turning Twinkle into a pawn in her game and turning her into a puppet at Yuvraj's hands. < Yellow is the color of happiness, optimism, sun shine and brightness. Twinkle's decision to wear the color first is seen by Anita and then chosen for Yuvraj. In after getting Twinkle to be her bahu, and getting back at Leela, Anita wouldn't have minded twinkle's inclusion in Yuvraj's life because she herself recognizes that Twinkle's influence cannot be the harmful one to Yuvraj. However once Twinkle comes downstairs, she rejects the color yellow signifying that she will not and will never be any kind of influence on anyone. Twinkle holds the keys to Yuvraj's redemption but Yuvraj's forceful marriage and groom swapped has closed all he doors of redemption upon him, signifying why Twinkle rejected yellow and called it tacky. In her eyes, Yuvraj is no longer the prince charming she fell in love with or a mistake of her past. Yuvraj's existence doesn't matter to Twinkle for her own sake. What matters to Twinkle is the safety of her relationship with Kunj.
Kunj and Twinkle's color co-ordination signified the unconditional love, care that both carry for each other and the protectiveness both have for each other. The reaction also signified how Twinkle's character remains untainted in front of the world where she is only devoted to the love and support of her first and her only husband.
Yuvraj revokes Anita at her failed plan, and she riles him up by forcing him to crush Twinkle's ego and pride. The only way the mother-son duo come up with is by having Yuvraj force himself over Twinkle. > Sexual intimacy between two consenting lovers/partners is literally one of the most purest form of love shared and Twinkle-Kunj are on their way to explore that area of their relationship. This whole story is a based around the kinds of love around one and the war on different forms of love. The story started when Leela rejected the physical advances of Anita's husband towards her. Leela chose her husband's memories over her Anita's husband. Her rejection was not the cause of Anita's husband who probably was a womanizer to leave Anita however Anita being Anita looked the situation where she blamed Leela for being a distraction for her husband. The rejection of Anita's physical relationship shared with her husband sparked the war between two families. A woman's honor in our society is the most prized thing and for some twisted reason, a man gets to decide the worth of a woman. The story here has transitioned to the second generation and the dynamics have shifted drastically with every attack from both sides. Twinkle's honor was repeatedly questioned by her mother-in-law until her son had to ask her to look deep into his wife's eyes and look at her innocence. Leela had to take a step back from her daughter when her character's questioning became very real and she had to ask her daughter to prove that the questions the society is asking, the questions that indirectly leads towards the values she has bestowed upon Twinkle are all wrong and that Twinkle is very much a girl that knows how to adapt and walk in every path of her life led by the right choices. The sexual relationship with Twinkle at this point with her consent determines the person who truly is worthy of her. Kunj has proved himself by been respectful and acknowledging Twinkle as an individual rather then a doll despite entering in a relationship with Twinkle upon bases of a rape attempt. Yuvraj meanwhile has failed that test by hurting Twinkle in ways beyond imagination and now, recently by forcing her in a relationship that was a source of her life and happiness. Yuvraj forcing himself physically on Twinkle and even talking about making an attempt circles back to him being his father and this time destroying himself by Twinkle rejecting him by not granting her consent. It also raises a flag for Twinkle and Kunj's relationship which has been protected by it's purity.
Kunj's insecurities regarding Twinkle's past have been wiped clear when in mandir he's too before the Goddess and took Twinkle's hand in his and vowed to support her after putting the mangulsture on. Anita would push Yuvraj to push the worst buttons of Kunj in regards to this aspect of love however Kunj's anger would only be generated at this point for anyone else besides him having thoughts of such extreme extent for Twinkle. Kunj's belief and insecurities upon which Yuvraj is playing his game on have been wiped clean by Twinkle's innocence and Twinkle's love.
Twinkle allows Kunj to pull her cheeks twice and kiss on both her cheeks. The duality of affection signifies how Twinkle has handed the reigns of the affection and love she consents to receive, to Kunj and only Kunj. For her, only Kunj's happiness matters thus the reason why instead of laughing at Anita or taunting Yuvraj back, Twinkle was in awe of her husband's love for her and his happiness that has been lost in past few days because of something she herself holds responsible for.
Consent plays a big part in this "war of love" because consent determines the decisions that are truly made. Twinkle's consent has been repeatedly violated by Yuvraj for whom, Twinkle is a doll that he had his eyes set on but wan't able to get. Bending the rules, Yuvraj has stolen the doll. What Yuvraj failed to realize is that Twinkle Taneja, the feisty lioness isn't a doll but a human being who cannot be played like a puppet he and his mother intend to turn her into. > Twinkle is Yuvraj's zid, his obsession and for Anita, she's the source of pain for her son just as Leela had once been a source of pain for her husband and her relationship.
The powder infused for Twinkle fails to reach her, at being replaced by Kunj but the drink gives a brain-freeze reaction to Twinkle all the same signifying that the person to spread over mind and thoughts is only Kunj where as Yuvraj's prepared drink making it's way to Anita signified how the mother-son have become each other's hurdles with the split in their motives and goals. While Anita hopes to defame Twinkle, Yuvraj seeks to attain his ownership over Twinkle.
The song lyrics that Anita sings and dances upon in her intoxicated state is significant of her being content with all the hurdles she's laid out for Twinkle however her spirit isn't crushed yet and that she will go to any extent to get Yuvraj what he desires, this being so vicious that she herself wouldn't recognize that she is blowing up her cover. She has warred on Twinkle while being in the Sarna mansion by using Twinkle's relationship with Yuvraj against her however with this sham-wedding, forcefully imposing herself as Twinkle's saas and portraying Twinkle's consent in front of the world while Twinkle continues to stand besides Kunj, Anita has lost the charge over her security blanket of past.
Anita falling into the bowl of henna signified her true colors revealing themselves in front of the world and her own son. Yuvraj's obsession for Twinkle and his broken ego and pride at her rejection of her love all over again, especially since now he had acquired her by all the rightful means in his own mind would become the cause of downfall for Anita. He will be the one to let out the truth of Anita being Surjeet's wife for a reason and he will be the one to hold her accountable for her idea of bringing Twinkle into his life when Twinkle was never his to begin with. Yuvraj has gone past the point of coming back but his realization would turn him his mother's enemy and his mother, his enemy despite being together. > In the end of the episode he is sitting in darkness that signifies him being isolated and alone even with his mother present. The mother-son duo will be selfishly using one another, especially Yuvraj but the destination of their train of thoughts will always end up in darkness itself as well with no end towards the light. << Also Anita is still walking around with the divorce papers to show instead of filing them and vringin in a court oder signifying how Twinkle and Kunj's marriage cannot break. Under neither laws. The religious or the legal. (Refer to EP 213 & 214 analysis)
The family reaction form the moment Yuvraj stepped down, to Twinkle and Kunj following behind and to the dance the Anita gave out, matters because to showed how much of Anita's facade is drooping away.
The dining table seen was short but very significant to the track as it brought forth light to the underlying issue between Kunj-Twinkle and now Yuvraj. Twinkle and Kunj have to find a middle ground of their relationship that doesn't depend not hem being solely husband and wife and there dependance on their love being enough for both of them.
Bebe and Leela are the only ones seated on the table, with Bebe being the head. Yuvraj brings out a chair from the end, signifying his position in Twinkle and Kunj's life being at complete end and then places forcefully besides Twinkle, reflecting on how he had tried to forcefully adjoin himself with Twinkle. Bebe shifts towards Leela once Kunj stands up because in war between the three, Kunj is the one who leads the way as he is the one that rules over Twinkle's heart and mind, while Twinkle is the ultimate decision maker. Kunj's black shirt gives away his masking of his emotions and suppressing his emotions in the current period of turbulence.
The last scene would be where tomorrow's episode might pick up again but it signified the need of a conversation and interaction between Kunj and Twinkle for the sake of their love and unity. It also emphasized on Yuvraj claiming over Twinkle in middle of battlefield. Yuvraj has turned Twinkle into a trophy that he thinks h rightfully deserves and while Kunj wouldn't ever claim Twinkle as a possession that Yuval does, he will makes sure that anyone else in Twinkle's life is worth Twinkle's attention.
