Still, ABCD 2 was gonna open huge coz of that Dance brand film. ABCD 2 if it would have a new film, then Varun would have edge over with that success. But when u hop on to a sequel, some percentage of work is already done by previous film.

Same happened with Dhoom 2 & 3, Dhoom's success gave dhoom 2 a huge boast & Dhoom 3 got the same acceleration from previous 2 films.

Baaghi here is just 2nd film of Tiger, who was mocked, humiliated a lot when his debut film came. With 2nd film itni badi success laani koi asaan baat nahi.

Ranbir

1st Film - Disaster

2nd film - Semi-Hit

Pick any young star from Hrithik onwards, this is 1st record made by Tiger.

Neerja is not All Over India HIT, it got benefit from Tax free status in some states, also a Multiplex hit more. Same goes for kapoor & sons, ki & ka, also Airlift which got same benefit plus plex support.

Baaghi is out n out ALL INDIA Level HIT with both Plex & Single Screen rocking, 1st from 2016.

Lafngha ji dont put down neerja in order to make prominent baaghi 😛 .neerja got tax after first n half week even screens increased after one n half week. Yes the mass audience wasn't targeting single screens baaghi is out n out Ss movie.
Neerja declared clean hit in three days 😃

I-f was wrong about which movies they does wonder 😉 u can check trailer threads of Neerja /kika/kapoor and sons/baaghi and airlift.all were declared as flops or predicted will underperformed but opposite happened.
And the movies which were predicted as huge hits were flop n dud 😆
