The new cast

When the new cassst is getting criticism, I would like to point out certain things.

More than the cast, it is the writers and directors fault.

About old cast. Except for four or five who gave flawless performances, others had flaws and were not consistent enough. But what made them admirable was the zest they showed and they were lucky enough to get the best scenes. And they had the advantage of working in a brand new show unlike the present ones working in a show that is not new but went on and on.

So I will give some benefit of doubt to the new ones.

Mahi is connected to anandi becausing she is portraying her daughter and we all know how the daughter was. A spunky girl taking impulsive decisions and fun loving. Never looked bechari even when she was beaten almost to death. So no excuses here.

But Avinash(Dr.Amit) is not connected to Jagya in any way just because he is also a doctor. Amit's way of handling cases and acting will be different and it should be different.

As for Ruslaan, his is also not a new character. A carefree NRI Just like Gulli's husband but he is portraying it in his own manner and its not bad.

So I will give some benefit of doubt to these two.

But I will not forgive the new writers and new directors who have exhibited little or no vision so far.

Mahi Vij is not someone new. She had been around for more than 10 years.So there is no excuse.She is the weakest link.

There is another show on Colors right now where the original creative team was sacked/made an exit and this particular show is supposedly going off air soon.

Hmmm... its not just the new cast or directors but it is also about what does the show have to offer.

Don't think there is anything new to show.

When the male lead of original Balika Vadhu , Jagya , was a doctor by profession , he became MLA later , but most of his career shown to us is in medicine and they have made the male lead of this revamped version of BV , as doctor too , then viewers will draw comparisons In Dr Amit's case nor the character is as impressive as Dr Jagdish neither the acting of actor . No one is asking him to copy Shashank 's style but give us some impressive performance but the fact Avinash is not acting good.. Just read the comment of one his fan too on this very forum , such a disappointment he is so far , His acting is very dull so far so see its not us old viewers of BV saying this , even some of his fans are saying same

And when the heck are they going to change the names of the cast ?

Perhaps some people don't know criticism is also done to see positive improvement We watch for program for entertainment , we are not doing some charity that we are expected to give chances
