Anushka's Sultan teaser ko phogat mein Phogat se churaya?

The second teaser of Sultan starring Anushka Sharma was unveiled on her birthday and people have been raving about her appearance in the film since then. Anushka beating the shit out of men twice her age looks like a total win-win already!

However, trust internet to dig deeper into everything. Even though we thoroughly enjoyed the teaser, it had a striking resemblance with an ad that was made on famous Indian wrestler Geeta Phogat.

The teaser that looks like a perfect introductory video to Aarfa's character is actually very similar to the TVC. Not one but both have some major resemblances.

1. Both the videos begin on subtle notes that revolve around the concept and idea of women empowerment.

2. Both look like they are celebrating a woman's inner strengths.

3. Both the videos showcase the journey of an ordinary village girl who juggles between daily chores of an ordinary Indian household and her passion.

4. The working-out bit in both the videos are very similar.

5. The Haryanvi style voice over by Salman Khan in the Sultan teaser is very similar to the background lines in the ad.

If you look closely you 'd notice that they have even copied the hairstyle and costume...

Having said that, the tvc is fantastic n the teaser was decent too.

It's not new for YRF or any other production company to get 'inspired' from somewhere.last I heard they copied the whole concept and the name of a hollywood movie,this is just a tvc/teaser🤔

I knew it when I watched anyways movie phir bhi chalegi.

Yes it's a blatant copy,there's no doult about that.Have'nt scene such a word to word scene to scene copy before.The director should've given the credit to the ad at least, or should've used his own creativity.The ad is awesome,the teaser is also good.But the lack of muscles and wrestlerlike features in Anushka is so evident after seeing this ad, I mean she looks way too soft physically, should've build up some muscles like pc did for mary kom.Otherwise she nailed it though.The blame lies with director and yrf here🥱
