THE DARK PAST
Flashback
The news spread like bonfire in Mumbai.Famous businessman, Mr.Avdoot Kirolskar commited suicide this morning.Media claiming that due to cowardice or fear of being arrested he did this.He had not been able to clear his debts to the bank and he had been in a shell for quite a long time.This particular news had shaken the whole Kirloskar family,his wife Kalindi Kirloskar,his daughters Sanjana and Aastha Kirloskar.They coudn't believe what they were seeing or hearing.Calls were coming from everywhere now and then,even media were gathered outside their house.The bank send a notice to clear their house immediately as their house will be now bank's property.Nothing was making sense to them,they were shell shocked to cry even.
However suddenly Kalindi started to pack their belongings along with some money for time being and asked her daughters to get ready as they will have to leave soon.They were shocked to see their mother like this but they knew it was better to stay quiet at that time.They got ready and got out of house from back door and set off for Pune.On the way the daughters couldn't keep themselves calm and started crying.But Kalindi kept mum all the way.They asked where they were going and what is all this but she kept quiet.In the middle of night they reached Pune and they straight went to their grandparent's home.All three of them came in the house ,the house they visited years back,but now its their home.They have to stay away from Mumbai,away from their own home,away from their friends,away from relatives,away from everyone.Aastha and Sanjana didn't understand what was going round them,but they also didn't have the courage to question their mom now.So much have happened in the last 24 hours that they lost their ability to think straight.That day was a indeed a dark day in their lives,but they didn't know whether it will continue like this or will their happy days be back again!!!!
The person who was the most affected by Avdoot Kirloskar's death was his eye candy, Aastha.Though he loved his two daughters but Aastha meant world to him.Sanjana,Aastha's younger sister, even complained the same to Kalindi but it fell to deaf ears.Avdoot provided Aastha will all the worldly pleasures,all the necessities even more than necessary.Aastha never knew the meaning of not having anything.Naturally she acquired a bad habit of demanding and crying if her mom refrains her from getting anything.Kalindi warned Avdoot about same but he was very casual.Throughout her life she has lived among the riches and most of all under the shade of her father.She has somehow completed her B.Com course from a very renowned college of Mumbai.She have least interest in studies rather she prefer partying and chatting around with her friends.In a word she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth,totally indifferent from practical life.But Sanjana was indeed more mature,she acquired her mother's traits.She loves to study and help her mom in her works.She was in her first year of B.Sc in Biochemistry.But life is the not same all the time.It has rough patches.
Aastha was remembering about her life even a day before and now.So much has changed.Her superhero,her father was no more with her.Thinking all this gradually sleep took over her thoughts and she fell asleep unknown of what next day and upcoming days as well as her fate has store for her and her remaining family.
